Er veldig fornøyd etter å ha overnattet på Hankø. Et koselig opphold med famile hvor både eldre og barn deltok. Skulle gjerne vært enda en natt. Eneste minus var litt dårlig utvalg av glutenfritt til frokost.

Beautiful large property and grounds. Definitely surprised to find out that it’s only accessible by ferry! No cars on the island. A beautiful shuttle drive from the ferry landing to the hotel. There is no peaceful view of the water from the hotel, as pictured. In it’s prime it was quite the destination.

The tom was ok. Below normal hotel standard. The “spa” area had som sort of bug or flea, so we had to leave the pool. Our room was on the second floor, and the people on the first floor were smoking at the smell came straight into our room. Also we could hear absolutely everything they said. We ordered one beer and one chocolate. By chech out the bill was on 200 kr. A ridiculous amount for a drink and piece of chocolate. Also there were extra costs on the ferry and for parking by the ferry. The parking cost is a lot more expensive than what the hotel says on their website. Norway is beautiful, and the cost is beautiful. I would recommend staying somewhere else than hankø.

The place was nice overall but future guests need to be informed a few key items. The boat shuttle needed to get to the island charges for each trip taken, the parking next to the dock costs, we were told there was laundry services but they had none and the mattresses on the beds were very thin and a bit uncomfortable.

Det er jo et gammelt hotell. Utrolig flott sted. Fikk beskjed om at bassenget var åpent fra 07:00 til 19:00 da jeg kom dit 07:40 var dørene stengt. Litt harde senger

Hadde et flott opphold. Fantastisk plass. Men det som trakk veldig ned var at det satt folk på belkongene rundt og røykte til sent på natt. Og fordi det var varmt måtte man ha døra åpen og røyken kom inn på rommet. Dette var veldig ubehagelig, og det var vanskelig å sove. Savnet også variasjon i kjøtt til frokost. Alt var svinekjøtt. Det var også blandet bacon på eggene og pølserbi potetene. Så for meg som allergiker for svinekjøtt ble det lite utvalg i maten.

Kjent institusjon med mye potentsiale. Gjør mye riktig men hade trengt en oppgradering. Veldig bra frukost, hyggelig personale i resepsjonen og gode fasiliteter innendørs. Stort pluss med å bli kjørt til ferga med elbuss. Utrolig lytt mellom rommmene - er helst ikke tredjepart når naborommene har nattlig gymtime.

Ble litt skuffet når i kom. Ikke så fint å fresht som det ser ut på bildene, men var god mat, hyggelig personale og ett pluss at det var en liten veranda på rommet som vi kunne sitte på etter at ungene hadde lagt seg🙂 kommer til å velge det hotellet igjen hvis jeg skal til samme område👍

Det er en helt spesiell atmosfære både på Hotellet, Seilkroa og Hankø generelt. Pent rom med god plass, og gode senger. Veldig god á la carte på Seilkroa. Fine turmuligheter på øya. Følgende trekker ned på helhetsinntrykket: Det ble ikke foretatt noen form for renhold/håndkle/sengetøy skift i løpet av det 5 dagene (4 netter) vi bodde på hotellet. Glutenfritt brød i kurv var plassert i åpen kurv direkte foran den vanlige brødristeren. Farlig for de som ikke tåler gluten! Umulig å bruke uten at Støv/mel må nødvendigvis havne på det glutenfrie. Dette dreier seg om uvitenhet, men ikke desto mindre om en stor helserisiko for de som har cøliaki. Til tross for noen men, ønsker vi oss tilbake til den herlige atmosfæren hotellet og øya.
