Radisson Blu Hotel Nydalen, Oslo

My stay here was pretty atrocious. - We requested a queen bed and were given a twin bed instead. - We tried to check in online and it didn’t work. - When we got to the check in desk the systems were down and it took about 15 minutes before we were even seen to. - The woman on reception was clearly overworked and they were clearly woefully understaffed. - We went to check if they could get us a queen bed and couldn’t. - The twin room we were given had leftover socks in it from the previous occupant. - It also had 7 half drank beers from the previous occupant, leftover chewing gum, a discarded snus and dried blood on a pillow. - We queried this with reception who said they’d give us a discount but then didn’t because we’d booked through Expedia/Hotels.com. - Chromecast was broken on the TV so we couldn’t watch anything. All in all, there wasn’t really anything good you could say about it. Don’t stay here.

Not of a standard you'd eclectic from a radisson

After being locked out of the house (my husband took the key in a business trip) I found myself and the three kids at this hotel. The lady was so kind. We had a great time. They even gave us an upgrade.

Hotel room was perfect , al that you need . Customer service needs slight improvement as there were two incidents where reception staff got information incorrect about my booking . These are minor fixes but were international customers and want the best experience that Oslo has to offer

The staff was very helpful and respectful during our stay. It’s also a very safe place to stay for solo female travelers. Transportation was extremely easy to access—even without renting a car. The bus stop is just a 9-minute walk away, and the metro station is only 2 minutes behind the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel!

Great location, easy to travel to Oslo centre and close to parks and lakes. Great rooms and nice breakfast. Staff are very helpful and kind.

Lady who checked us in was great, hotel and room very clean, and bed was the best.

The room and property was fantastic. The staff at the front desk was a let down and led to a disappointing experience at the start. The buffet as well as the staff at the restaurant were superb though. Had great connecting rooms, though the AC was not functioning properly... And we did not want to interact with the staff at the reception.. Had a mixed experience... This was in stark contrast to our superb experience at the Radisson Blu Ankara, where the superb room experience was amplified by the great staff and service. This one did not even have anyone to assist us with the luggage. We had to move entire luggage in a trolley ourselves.

Very good hotel Pleasant attitude

No staff on reception, Eventually we were greeted with what we could not do, which is park outside. Room upgrade never happened, we had to ask for our free drinks and we received two unopened warm bottles of water and no glasses, it’s ok we helped ourselves. The bar was shut through the stay. Rooms are good. Typical of the chain and the hotel is opposite a Metro station. There is a shopping centre attached. Bad staff let the place down. Unless it was cheap I would not stay here again.

The hotel was lovely and a mostly had a great stay. The breakfast was brilliant. Only niggles: I asked for a Queen bed and had two singles The room was very warm The girls at check in was not very welcoming
