Hyatt Centric San Juan - Isla Verde

The hotel was beautiful. Room was excellent with many amenities. Pool, bar, restaurant and staff were wonderful. Joyce at the front desk was so helpful scheduling activities and taxi pick up. The hotel is conveniently located next to a 24 hour drug and grocery store too!

Clean, modern hotel and rooms.

The front desk people were kind, helpful and offer good suggestions when heading bout to explore. The coffee shop workers were kind and made a great Americano. The bar tenders were kind, made good margaritas and were attentive.

Noise. Banging noise. Friendly staff clean rooms. Jacuzzi/hottub was barely warm.and jets would only go on every 45 min.

Hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly was able to check in early.

The place was really great. We had a clean room with great staff! Conveniently located! We enjoyed the beach club and the local beach. Mandy restaurant are walkable. At night we enjoyed drinks out and at the restaurant in hotel.

Clean property. Front desk still needs a little more training. The resort fee was really high not sure what this fee gives you.

It was okay. No activity whatsoever. Plenty of unused space where we could’ve went to vape out of view of other guests but no vaping/smoking on site. The staff was kind. Rooms and facilities/grounds were very clean which we appreciated but we would’ve chose somewhere else if we knew the property was smoke free which I get keeping your guests in a clean air environment but still, it wasn’t for us and was inconvenient for us to go all the way off the property and we didn’t find out about the policy until the day before we checked in. Wish we knew in advance otherwise we would’ve chosen another hotel. Dog friendly. Highlight was the 5/10 minute shuttle ride to the beach club for lunch/dinner that had an adult pool and nice beach on their site. Small Casino across the street from hotel. The hotel was super close to the airport. Ubers were plentiful. It was also close to the 24 hour convenience store and a lot of restaurants within walking distance. The beach is across the street so that was nice. It wasn’t beachfront though as it appeared online. The hotel bar was out of ingredients for pina coladas and other popular drinks so we again had to go off site. It was family friendly for sure but nothing to do on the property itself even for small kids. Nothing. The pool was clean. The whirlpool was not warm/hot. Not warm enough to be relaxing so we didn’t even use it. It’s a hotel for travelers who want a quiet stay close to the beach and amenities within walking distance.

This so-called recently renovated room was in terrible disrepair. The push button shower button came out and hit my wife's. When we reported this to the desk, the receptionist, Edgar, was rude and patronizing. He said they would make an adjustment on our bill, but they never did. The air conditioner made loud noises through the night. There was not enough toilet paper in the room, and we had to ask 3 times for more. Finally, a fellow came, never said a word and acted extremely put upon that he had to deliver it. One little chair and a tiny pedestal table.That was it.

My Rolex Submariner watch was stolen from my hotel room while my daughter and I stepped out for a couple hours and after I made an official report with the hotel the only thing the hotel staff told me was to call the police. I understand that may be protocol but that wasn’t going to get my watch back and they offered me absolutely nothing except that. The head of security knows full well I was telling him the absolute truth. I will never book with Hyatt again. As you can see I book fairly often and clearly am not in search of any freebies but to not offer a single thing to me is beyond unacceptable.
