JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel

The best hotel we stayed in our vacation trip through Europe.

I cannot thank the team at JW Marriott Bucharest enough for their constant support, exceptional resources, and unprecedented level of communication and dedication to my needs. Prior to my stay, I contacted JW Marriott to explain that my intention during the visit was to conduct a marriage proposal. My request was accepted with great warmth and sincerity. Although there was not a huge window of time to organise such an event, the task was met with great enthusiasm and tenacity. The team was able to source one of the world’s current Top 50 photographers, along with botanical features that had to be imported into Bucharest. The Steakhouse restaurant was reserved exclusively at my personal request, and the service provided by Dorin was second to none — the best I have yet encountered. The mood was perfectly set, the team had their fingers crossed, and of course, she said YES! The staff even managed to prepare the room with a rose petal display and chilled sparkling wine while we dined, all without being detected by my fiancé. Overall, the experience marked one of the most memorable and significant moments of my life, and I now regard JW Marriott Bucharest as family. An extra special thank you to Petronela Dolea and Alexandra Milu for helping make this unforgettable moment possible.

The buffet breakfast covers all the selection one can imagine. The stuffs are excellent

An amazing hotel full of excellent food, variety of restaurants and plenty to do. Rooms were immaculate, we got a room upgrade thanks to Daniel on reception, he was welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us thank you Daniel! We will definitely be returning in the future!

This is an excellent and beautiful hotel, located in a nice part of Bucharest. It's close enough to the Old Town that you can easily access all of the cool things there, but it's separate enough to be calm and quiet. It's right across the street from both the new Romanian National Cathedral and the old Palace of the Parliament, two places worth visiting. Our room was spacious and had a nice view of the city. The phone had an "at your service" button which could be used for any requests and which we really appreciated. We requested chocolate covered strawberries be delivered to the room every day at 10 am, and they arrived every day right on time and were delicious. The hotel is large and has several restaurants. We enjoyed the Italian restaurant, the Steak House and the Sports Bar the most. The Sports Bar has a pool table, dart boards, ping pong and foosball, all of which were great. The hotel spa is excellent and was a highlight of our stay. Our only complaint is that the television in the room was unable to connect to the internet or to our phones, despite the television screen itself saying that both things were possible. The hotel later confirmed that the television completely lacked internet connectivity. A more modern television would be appreciated and expected in 2026. Overall, this is an awesome hotel and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bucharest.

Ok restaurant

I had an excellent stay, surpassing (high) expectations. The staff were all extremely helpful, in particular Ana on the concierge desk.

although i paid 3rd person fee to Hotels.com, Marriot receptions wanted me to pay this fee again and again. This was not a good conversation for me.

This is the only hotel I will stay at in Bucharest! I absolutely love staying there. Although the hotel itself is beautiful and everything is perfect, the best thing about this hotel is the staff! The staff are the most friendliest and accommodating group of people and they are the reason I continue to return.
