Great staff good shower

Easy access to Stirling and close to the M9 without being noisy. It would have been helpful to have had some simple instructions for the use of the air conditioning system.

Conveniently located. Food very good. Could do with a lift to get to second floor rooms Secure.

Pub hotel where we no pub food or drink have was very nice there was one downside though and that was Pepe being gobbled by Colin in the middle of the night as the camping bed supplied was stationed by the door where Colin could’ve entered from and Pepe found this very traumatic Keef had nice time in the toilet which was fuelled by our outing in the local town whereby we got a cracking offer in the local pizza express whereby a few mistakes from the waiter who was very well mannered led to us getting a hefty reduction on our bill which was well appreciated by Pepe and family and made our trip even more enjoyable we enjoyed the room very much but bean dibbsed the window bed leaving Pepe to be captured by Colin but if you ignore this fact it was a lovely stay and we would definitely come again.

Excellent value for money. We stayed over to break up a longer journey north. Conveniently located just off the main route. We enjoyed the riverside walk with access close to the hotel. The evening meal was good and we particularly enjoyed the cooked breakfast the following morning. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Special thanks to the staff who were all very pleasant and friendly.Will definitely stay again when travelling this way.

We are very happy always in this hotel... we love Highland Gate Monstron's !

No issues with out of our check-in, room good value and spacious . Unfortunately, no hot water in my room when I got up. Reported at breakfast, no apology or explanation offered, but it was working again later. By that stage, though it was too late and needed to leave for work.

Good hotel for a one night stay on my way south between Aberdeen and Cumbria. The online checkin is a bit unreliable it would be easier just checking in on arrival. The service was excellent and the room very comfortable. The food in the bar was good with a good selection of meals

I was awakened through the night with the smell of weed coming through the vents. My clothes were also contaminated by the smell. I will not be booking again and definitely not recommending it to any of my colleagues at work
