My daughter and I had a lovely three-night stay in one of the one bedroom cottages. There were so many helpful small touches, like milk in the fridge and body wash in the shower, as well as fresh flowers. The property was clean and had everything we needed. Check-in was friendly. The location is absolutely stunning, although the road is very narrow!

Wow what a location. Gemma came and met us for check in, everything was ready and organized, easily process to get us swiftly sorted. After a long drive from the south of England. The lounge has the most amazing view, the tv is small, who cares? the is ever changing. The location is fantastic and only a few minutes drive to the great little village of Dunkeld. Beautiful walks, I could go on, and on!

Gemma and David were very welcoming and answered all our questions quickly. The location is stunning. The cottage is a great size, plenty of space and is very comfortable. Things like handsoap, washing up liquid, toilet roll etc are all provided. Lovely to have the log fire too and also a firepit in the garden which is fenced off and secure for the dog. Just a short walk to the hermitage trail and on to Dunkeld. You would be hard pushed to find such a great accommodation in such a beautiful area.

This is our second visit and we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful rural location. Perfect for outdoor loving families. The surroundings are stunning. We watched deer climbing the fellside each morning and horses in the field below. There views in all directions are spectacular. There is plenty of walking from the doorstep which is great for children and dogs. We received a lovely warm welcome from the owners who were nearby if needed.

I was a little bit skeptical at first: the property is reached by a one lane road, off a small two lane road, off a regional road. Typical Scotland. Yet, once there, it was magnificent. The cottage was adjacent to two cottages and next to small bio domes which seemed interesting to stay also. Our cottage was very spacious, clean, airy, great kitchen and despite its perceived isolation had all possible amenities. Very nice host who welcomed us with a bottle of wine. It was beautiful to wake up and walk around the property surrounded by beautiful and quiet scenery. I was expecting a flock of sheep to come by anytime. Despite its isolation, the property is in fact only 5/10 minute by car to Dunkeld where one can find all the amenties, restaurants, pubs, etc. Next time, I will stay one week.

A beautifully built and presented stone cottage nestled in the hills a stones throw away from Dunkeld. Gemma was there to meet us and settle us in and left us with a complementary bottle of wine. So quiet, clean and comfortable with lovely views, Kennacoil is an ideal location for exploring this stunning part of Scotland.

I only booked for one night and had a pod for 3 people and a pod for 6 people. The pod for 6 people was ideal for us having a set of bunk beds, a large double bed and a futon bed and was also pet friendly. There was also space for luggage and for our camping chairs which we brought in for seating. The pod for 3 was compact with really only space for 3 people to sleep which is what we expected. The toilets and showers were fantastic as was the well equipped kitchenette. The pods are basic which is exactly what you would expect and pay for. Just the job!!!

We arrived slightly early at the apartment, there was a number to call and within 5 minutes we were met by Gemma. She showed us around, gave us sll the information we require, not to mention a bottle of wine. The accommodation is superb, warm and cosy. Everything you'd need for a relaxing break, tv, board games, dvds, fully equiped kitchen with washer/dryer and all incredibly clean. We absolutely loved it, do much so we booked an additional night whilst here. A short walk and you're at the Hermitage, short drive you can be in Dunkeld,Pitlochry or Perth. Train station 5 mins away too. All in all, we loved it and most certainly will be returning. We stayed in the pet friendly apartment due to our 2 frenchies coming with us, loads of dog walking near by too.

The property was clean and modern but it didn’t take away from the stunning scenery that wraps around the property.
