Excellent hotel in a brilliant location, situated right on the Royal Mile. Checkin was busy but very quick and eficient. Hotel had overlooked request for twin beds but this was promptly rectified by housekeeping. Decent sized room spotlessly clean with full bath, overhead shower and ample soaps etc. Room was very quiet, breakfast was excelent.

We were there doing festival, so it was a madhouse. Despite all of that, the staff member who checked us in was amazing. He took his time to help us with the bags, explore a restaurant options with us, and helped us during our stay. Really was a spectacular room excellent service a bit overrun, but that I think was the circumstances of the festival.

The hotel is a decent hotel. I accept the prices are high as it was the Fringe, but at £700 a night I would have at least expected a decent coffee machine in the room. Not cheap instant coffee sachets. Housekeeping were poor at replenishing bathroom stuff eg bath salts. Cleanliness was good though. Too few bar staff for the number of guests/visitors. They did their best but were run off their feet. Decent breakfast.

Fantastic stay at the Radisson Blu. Our suite was excellent, and the kids were thrilled to be able to sleep in their own beds in their own main room. Despite being in the heart of the city centre, the rooms were incredibly well insulated and it was so quiet and comfortable inside. You could tell the hotel was very thoughtful about comfort (ex: ear buds, pillow and bedding options, fruit basket, ample water bottles). The location for this hotel is incredible, steps away from the Royal Mile and only an easy 10 minutes walk away from many attractions (ex: the castle, calton hill, national museum, etc.). We wished we could've stayed here even longer! And would be happy to return in the future too. The breakfast was decent and good quality, although they could benefit from having more variety. Other than that, fantastic hotel.

The carpet and fittings are old and dated. The carpet condition is very bad. We opted for Superior View room but the window was tiny and the only view was visible when standing up. The concierge Roy Hogg was very helpful and got us a good 5-day trip booking for the Highlands, up to Loch Ness and Inverness. The room rate turned out to be pricey, and no breakfast was included. Only the hotel location is perfectly in the heart of the city,
