Super place clean and new and say access to town and parking

Room was clean and comfortable, with easy check in and check out. Parking was a bonus.

The room was clean and comfortable. The walls might be a tad thin but not really an issue. The location is great.

Average - good sized room, very small bathroom (sitting on toilet and legs hit sink), and staying two days on with two people & provided one small bottle of body wash & shampoo. Heat didn’t work in room, and slow response to queries. Location good, but limited parking. Would look for alternatives before going again.

The room was fine.

Great place to stay in Oban with safe parking for motorbikes. Very short walk to the centre of town. Very comfy bed, kitchen well stocked with equipment needed. Only down side was the sofa looks great but is not the most comfortable.

Raniven Guest House was a lovely place to stay—beautiful room, easy walk to dining places . I loved staying there.

The property was fine, a good location within Oban but several things were slightly awry. There was no information in regard to safety procedures inside the room or any information whatsoever about Oban and places to go etc. We had to phone up to get the wifi password which eventually dropped out for 24 hrs and we had to hotspot off my phone to glean info about who to contact. Additionally, we had to contact the owner about a fire alarm in a room other than ours and then was asked to help turn it off. The bathroom was tiny and having to sit sidesaddle on the toilet due to the sink being too close was interesting!!! Having said all that it could be a great place to stay with a little more attention to the details above.

The Raniven property was very convenient to our stay and travels in Oban.

Great location with offstreet parking. The coffee machine was great but there was only one pod with coffee ... others, were milk.

Somewhat cramped, but that is to be expected. Very convenient for exploring Oban.

Great wee room. Very tidy and clean. Only issue was the TV had a fault and it kept changing the channel and turning off and on

Small things. Coffee maker was defective. Just blinked at us. The shower drain was slow, so water was pooled around our feet after very short showers.

Turn exterior door handle straight up to get the deadbolt to lock or unlock. Lock on room door is normal. Great location.

A very central location with easy access to town and restaurants. Easy to access by car. The bed was very comfortable (but a Double so small). The shower was excellent and the towels were very nice. The room was small and because we were on the top floor the walls were sloped to the ceiling making the room feel even smaller. Parking, unless you grab a spot early is on the road and Pay Parking. Communication with Owner is by scripted e mails but clear directions on how to get into your room. We did have a Fire Alarm and could not get in contact with Owner via e mail. Alarm went on until Fire Dept arrived.

A live person should be present around check in time. This was not a pleasant experience
