Hotel was undergoing refurb which I wasn't informed about during booking. Very strong smell of paint fumes in room and corridors which lead to waking with a headache.

The approach to the hotel there are loads of cigarette ends by the door way. Lots of rubbish in the bushes generally untidy.
The pub itself externally is 3 different colours and the porchway roof had tiles missing

Convenient location for what we needed. Friendly pub with ok standard food attached for dinner and breakfast. Window sill in room was very dirty! Dead spiders and muck.
