The room is clean, the toilet has a bidet, the AC is cold, the bed is very soft, the room is not big but very comfortable, the bathroom is clean, towels are provided, the TV is big, the breakfast is delicious and nutritious. If I go to SG, I will come back here again.

J8 Hotel Singapore is strategically located near Lavender MRT Station. It's very close to Mustofa Center (only a 5-7 minute walk), Haji Lane (15 minutes), Bugis Street (18 minutes), and Orchard Road and Marlion (both MRT stations). If it's not too hot or you're out walking in the evening, you can take a walk and exercise. J8 Hotel Singapore offers a pretty good breakfast, a healthy and balanced diet. The rooms are equipped with mineral water, tea and coffee, a refrigerator, a hairdryer, and clean towels. The service is great, everyone is friendly and helpful. Since it was a late night flight, after check-out, we were able to leave our luggage and continue exploring. Oh yeah, the toilets at J8 Hotel Singapore are clean, and there's a washroom. My previous experience with hotels without washrooms was a hassle. Next time I go to Singapore, I'll stay at J8 Hotel again. Recommended.

Overall very satisfying. The check-in and check-out process does not take up to 5 minutes and does not need a deposit. The breakfast menu has been packaged but every day the package changes so it's not boring. Strategic location to MRT station and bus stop (less than 10 minutes). It is suitable for families who bring children because in front of the hotel there is a playground and also very close to Mustafa Center to shop for souvenirs. The point is a very recommendable price that is not too expensive but has pleasant facilities.

Although the room was a bit cramped, it was very clean. The bathroom was also clean, but a bit small with a ceiling-mounted shower. But there was enough space to safely store towels and clothes so they wouldn't get wet. I didn't have breakfast here, as I was a bit concerned about its halal status, and they said it wasn't halal-certified. However, there is a Muslim-owned restaurant nearby that was also delicious and quite affordable. For transportation, the nearest MRT is Jalan Besar. But if I may say, if you have luggage, the road to Lavender MRT is better, even though it's further, and easier to change line to Changi airport. There are also several bus stops around the hotel that are closer than MRT. The staff are quite friendly. They also let us leave our luggage in the storage room after we checked out, but still want to go around before returning home.

The room is okay, the location is good, but it's a bit of a walk to the MRT station, and the breakfast is included but it's non-halal, so non-Muslims can't eat it, so they have to find their own breakfast near the hotel, but the hotel is close to Mustafa Center, overall it's okay, comfortable.

Easy check-in and check-out, no deposit required. Standard room because I chose windowless, comfortable bed, quite complete amenities. Transportation is a bit tricky because the MRT is a bit far, but it's still safe. So, I prefer to take the bus. There's a halal restaurant nearby if you're unsure about the hotel's food. There's also a mini playground nearby if you bring kids. The toilet is clean, quite spacious for a budget hotel in Singapore, and has a bidet. Overall, okay.

There's a little cockroach in the bedroom, and they don't clean and tidy the bed when they clean the room. They didn't refill the toilet amenities and tea/coffee in the room while I'm staying. Beside that issues, the location is nice.

For the location, it is relatively close to the MRT and buses, so the access is quite good. The staff at check-in were not very friendly even though we paid. For that price, the staff should be friendlier. The room is very compact, not small and not big either, clean with a window so you can see the outside world, the only downside is the hard bed so it is not very comfortable, the important thing is that there is a bidet, Breakfast is just B, not too special but for that price compared to other hotels, having breakfast is a plus. Most importantly, access to everywhere near Mustofa, Haji Lane, the Grand Mosque, Little India is quite close and close to halal food places and Sevel (although Sevel BKK is better hehehe). Overall, it is quite good,

As a solo traveler, I am very satisfied with this hotel. I booked a single room from 25 to 28 December 2025. The room was spacious for a single person. The bathroom was also spacious with bidet and complete amenities. Complimentary bottled water, coffee, tea, etc. were provided. TV, AC, and hotel water worked well. It was clean and the room service came everyday. The room was quiet enough and I had sound selepas during my stay. The staffs were friendly. They also served breakfast, which was very helpful. The hotel's location was strategic, near many food stalls and convenient stores. Bus stop and MRT station were quite a walk from the hotel. Room's rate was very affordable even during peak season. Overall, I recommend this hotel for backpackers who still want privacy.
