KINN Capsule: HER Space (Female Only)

The hotel smells good.

Lovely capsule hotel, very chic and stylish and feels very clean. Highly recommend for a solo traveler. Only issue is if you have any issue climbing the ladder on the upper capsules. It was always a little tricky to climb up and down but you’re in your own little world once you’re inside.

Fantastic location in the heart of the city with good connections. Closest subway station requires a little bit of walking but is not too far, a lot of popular areas are within walking distance and there's plenty of bars and food options around! Staff is very friendly and helpful too! Highly recommend for a solo traveller!

I really wanted to like Kinn since it's clean and the staff were very kind. The location is also perfect, but for me the cons outweighed the pros significantly. I could hear a nightclub in the adjacent unit thumping away until 5am that earplugs did not work to block. The windows to the street are left open through the night and you can hear loud cars and people partying until the early hours of the morning. The sound of the curtains from other capsules opening and closing is loud enough to hear across the whole room and wake you if you even manage to fall asleep in the first place. Additionally, the capsules are not suitable for those 6 feet (~183 cm). I could not fully extend my legs and get comfortable. I could see how this place would be great for someone who can sleep through loud noises and isn't above 6 feet, but I wanted to write this review for others who might need this information. Pros: location, staff are very nice, clean, easy to make friends Cons: terribly noisy at night, the shades opening and closing make a lot of noise, there is little light blocking or sound blocking if you stay in the rooms with a curtain

Great stay! Staff are super helpful and friendly. Very comfortable bedding and the whole place including bathrooms were very clean. You will need ear plugs though as you hear the music all night from the bar next door.

I stayed one night at this property. It was a reasonable stay with good amenities and service. The pod was as expected, and the property provided lockers for personal effects. Everything was digital, including entry to the property, access to the pods, access to the locker, which was quite convenient. Wifi was good. Bathroom area was clean and had a good layout, but it was not environmentally controlled, so it was quite hot and humid when I visited, and this was well after most people were asleep and I was the only person in the facility. Hotel gave earplugs and slippers, which was nice, and this provided a good rest for me - I was not bothered until my alarm went off in the morning, so noise didn't seem to be an issue. Hotel is well-situated near Clarke Quay so it is quite central with good access to many nearby amenities and destinations. I'm not typically a traveller that stays in pod hotels but if I had to stay in one again, I would recommend this property.

The room was very clean and the staff was fantastic. It would have been nice however to have a fan in the capsule and maybe a white noise machine.

The most important requirements for me were all met. 1. Staff, from front desk to housekeeping, were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The wifi doesn't work on my phone and one lady really wanted to help me. One young man (starts with S? maybe) helped call a taxi for me and helped load my luggage without being asked. 2. Felt very safe in the property. Rooms were kept locked and secure lockers were available for luggage. Neighborhood also safe. 3. Quiet and able to rest even with other roommates (all respectful of quiet hours) and even with the property being in an active, busy area. Capsule and bed clean and no signs of bed bugs or other critters around the property. I'm unsure of shower cleanliness. Witnessed the staff cleaning the restrooms daily in the mornings, but the shower just seemed iffy. Recommend always bringing shower shoes for places where restrooms are shared. Some water leaks from the shower stall located by the door so the entrance way is often wet. The trash can gets full quickly so it should be switched out with a bigger one. In the bedroom, my capsule wasn't very thoroughly cleaned. Some hair on the shelf/outlet area and in the spaces between the mattress and capsule frame. General wear and tear throughout such as marks on the lobby furniture. Happy with the amenities - filtered water dispenser, both cold and hot, and a microwave. Bonus coffee, tea, and snacks provided too. Would be pleased to return. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
