The location is perfect, direct access to public transport, within walking distance to several food centers and surrounded by cafes and local shop houses.

I had a short enjoyable stay at the Mercure ICON Singapore City Centre. The location is its biggest selling point it's connected to Clarke Quay MRT station, making the entire city incredibly accessible, and the area is full of great restaurants, hawkers and bars. The hotel is clean and holds a modern vibe and the rooftop pool was an absolute lifesaver, offering a fantastic retreat with great city views. My room was very comfortable, and impeccably clean but small. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout my stay. For a well located, modern, and comfortable hotel that offers great value in Singapore, I would highly recommend it and would not hesitate to book again.

The hotel just seems too be brushed, not mopped or vacuumed, meaning the rooms have dust and hairs in the corners even after “cleaning”.

The hotel is well located, the Telok Ayer Metro (Icon) Exit is right inside the hotel. It is 3 minutes walk from Chinatown, etc. From the airport it took 1h15 to reach the hotel using the metro - return took 1h30. Staff was nice. Room was small (typical for Singapore). Internet was good. Buffet breakfast was ok (the croissant which were delicious) often it was difficult to find a place to sear. Pool was very nice and closed at 21.00

The hotel is in a great location for transport with some attractions walkable. Food nearly. Rooms are extremely small. Opening one case takes up whole of floor space. Very little hanging space. Bathroom sink is in bedroom. The bathroom itself is also very small. Only one bedside table. Ok for a couple of nights. Was clean and staff polite. Unfotuantly, wouldn't here again due to the size of room.

While the hotel is located in a convenient location, there are a few quirky things about it. 1. The standard Queen room is tiny and the bed was cut shorter to provide more space. OK for Asian tourists who are not tall, but a challenge for European travellers. 2. The shower and toilet facilities are tiny. Reminded me of the toilet facilities on board a cruise ship. 3. Limited storage space. Was there for 5 nights and had to live off my luggage. 4. The Lobby Cafe is independently owned and no charge back to the room facility. In any case, its very expensive. A cappuccino costs S$6.80

I chose this hotel based on location and affordability for a family of 4. Walkable to all main sights and very close proximity to the MRT station as the larger one within China Town. Rooms were small but fine as we didn’t spend loads of time in there. They were modern with everything we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

This hotel is almost perfect. Its location close to everywhere and staff are very good and friendly. It is a new hotel so you will see workers still doing some finishing work inside the property. The bath room in our assigned room seems not complete as it is missing seals on the door resulting from water splattering all over when one is showering.
