Nice to stay away from the Lake Bled mayhem. Up above the lake, great view of the church and easy access via the local road to the beach & lake. Breakfast was great! The staff was wonderful and the menu offered a a wide range of options, and we were able to try multiple local options.
We would stay here again, since we found the local road past the train station to take us down to the restaurant, beach, row boats and campground. This route avoids all the Lake Bled traffic :-)
What wasn't great? 1) The Bed(s). They were hard and very uncomfortable. 2) The patio door was missing the unlock level, so only one side opened. 3) Parking can be a little tricky if you arrive late in the evening.
If you have kids or teens, you may want to stay closer to the lake. If you are looking for a little piece and quiet, a great view and easy access to everything. This is where I would stay :-)

Quiet Stay with Great Food
We recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is very quiet, which made for a peaceful stay. One of the highlights was the excellent restaurant with beautiful views of Lake Bled. The breakfast was also a standout, with plenty of options and good quality.
However, the rooms themselves were quite basic—nothing particularly special. The bathroom, in particular, was poorly designed. If you're tall or from North America, you might struggle with the shower layout, as it’s difficult to avoid getting water everywhere.
If you're looking for a quiet retreat with good food and scenic views, this is a good option.

This hotel is a real gem. We had a beautiful suite with a gorgeous view of the lake. We never had dinner in the restaurant but breakfast was fantastic - lots of options and all delicious. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We also each had a Triglav Massage which was amazing. It’s a short walk down to the lake (though it’s uphill on the way back) - approx. 30min walk by the lake into town. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Nostalgic old time hotel. Overlooked lake Bled beautiful site. Great trails around the late for walks . Vintage Gorge 10 mins away . Breakfast was very good complementary. The rooms are a bit small . Most staff friendly . Would stay again.

I would suggest you offer another menu to the 1 you have, as an additional for those who don’t have discerning taste. You may find more guests stay for dinner, therefore giving your staff, you are already paying, more to do, more $’s back to the hotel and happier guests who want to stay there for the experience.

We enjoyed our stay and the views. Nice location and spa/pool area. Would recommend the weekend wine tasting. Breakfast was wonderful. Simon was able to assist with last minute castle restaurant reservation. Staff was cordial.

As soon as we drawed the curtains open and saw the breath-taking view, we knew that this was the vacation we always dreamed of. The staff was friendly and efficient, the room was clean and fabulous. The sauna, pool and massage was wonderful and the food was delicious and on par.
