Mondrian Seoul Itaewon

Will definitely be going back!

The hotel was very impressive. From the entrance you are welcomed by lovely staff, the hotel is wonderfully scented. Check in was easy and straightforward. The room was well decorated and spacious. The location was perfect, short walking distance from main street, shops, transport, etc.

Major issue booking page doesn’t note that pool is not open on first Tuesday of the month. Only notes after booking. This is disingenuous. Also, I was asked to pay for the pool and noted it was free for my booking and need to wait for them to confirm this.

I stayed at this hotel on my first ever visit to Korea and Seoul. The property has a terrific looking lobby and I am a huge fan of the design. However, I came to realize that this is more of a party hotel with a pool, poolside bar and other such amenities for Seoul dwellers that come here on staycations. There is also some weird lower floor with stores and such that looks like a mall or something? And I have no idea if it is even supposed to be part of the hotel. At any rate, this might not be the ideal property if you're here as a tourist exploring Seoul since it's a bit far from the subway stations and there's not much touristy in the area & the rooms are also quite small and for some reason the shower & bathroom door are semi-transparent - but on the whole, this is a solid 4/5 place to stay. The room was clean and in a very good condition. The breakfast buffet isn't the biggest but decent and the restaurant is nice looking.

Nice hotel but service isnt great, staff seam uninterested. For basic requests like booking a taxi

Mondrian Itaewon is a reasonably priced high quality option. Conveniently located for the north side of Seoul. Rooms are functional - reasonably sized and well equipped. Gym good although only allowed to use it once per day. . Limited dining options in the hotel. Feel is if a lovely boutique hotel in common spaces with fairly loud music and nice art work. Staff super efficient

We loved the property and the staff, everyone was extremely kind and accommodating! The only thing I would note is that that main pool is an additional charge even for hotel guests! Something to keep in mind if the pool is a selling point for you! Overall we had a wonderful stay!

What an amazing hotel. The staff were really lovely and catered to our needs. Always polite and opened doors for us when we were coming and going from the hotel. Room service was lovely. And managed to also use spa facilities which was as an incredible experience. Will definitely be booking another stay here when I visit South Korea again.

The restaurants, outdoor pool, and rooftop is beautiful, well maintained, and clean. The indoor pool and gym also spectacular and clean. Limited local Korean options around to choose from.

I think this hotel is primarily for weddings, which they promote. It has a great lobby, but you don't spend time in the lobby. The rooms are small and tired. It's definitely not a five star hotel.

You can't use the outdoor pool you need to pay like 50000 won if you want to use it. I complained about it and they get me 2 passes for my daughter and I to use them. I only booked that hotel for the outdoors pool to be honest. Very far from the metro station in Itaewon. *Walked like easy 4 or 5 blocks to get to the Hotel. The employees were the best, very attentive, willing to help, English speakers.

I stayed at Mondrian Seoul Itaewon for 15 days and every moment was exceptional. From the warm welcome at the front desk to the kindness of the security team, the staff made me feel valued and cared for. The hotel is stunning modern, artistic, and full of vibrant energy. My room was spotless, comfortable, and filled with thoughtful touches. Dining at Cleo and relaxing in the lounge spaces made each day feel special. The location in Itaewon is perfect close to everything, yet peaceful. What stood out most was the atmosphere of true hospitality. This wasn’t just a stay it felt like home. Thank you Mondrian for a beautiful experience.
