Beautiful views! We loved our room at the SL Hotel Gangneung as they were spacious, very clean and comfortable and they had amazing views! The buffet breakfast was a big bonus. Overall an excellent stay!

Overall, it was quiet and clean; however, it was disappointing that disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste had to be purchased from a vending machine. Furthermore, there was no ambient lighting—the only options were to turn all the lights completely on or off—and the motion-sensor light in the bathroom kept switching on every time my roommate used the facilities, making it impossible for me to get any sleep.

This is not a two bedroom “suite”. It’s a false advertisement. It’s a one bedroom with 2 twin beds in the living room. As a result, there is no sofa/common area, just two rooms. Because the twin beds are by the entrance door, the light sensor constantly lights up when you twist and turn on your bed while you sleep. If you are on a business trip, beware. There is no iron for your suit/dress, not even to borrow one from the front desk.

3인 예약해서 방문. 사진으로는 꽤 넉넉해 보여 예약했지만 방은 정말 비좁았고 이 가격이 정말 실화인가 싶은 호텔이었음. 온갖 외국인 단체 손님에 응대할 직원은 턱없이 부족해 보이고 외국인들은 엘리베이터 안에서 영어 응대해주는 사람 없다고 불평하고 있고, 호텔은 에어컨이 객실만 운영되어 복도나 엘리베이터 안은 습기에 덥고 꿉꿉한 냄새. 최악은 아니지만 이 가격에 여기에 머무는 것은 정말 아니었음.
