Suncloud Hotel

Room looked way better in photos than in real life. The rooms were too hot, the air conditioning units are way too small for the rooms. The suite was very large, and the view was great, but the whole place smelled like mold. The towels we were given were only hand towels and they smelled like cat pee. No laundry service, which is really appalling for a hotel to not even offer a paid service to guests. Maybe there was but the staff didn't even seem to care what we were asking for. The whole place felt like they didn't want us there. I would not stay in Hauendae again. It is so far from everything in Busan. Better to stay in Gwangalli nowadays.

Access is good , but surrounding are not clean.

It was hard to navigate at first with the elevators since it is in the same building as the Sea Cloud but once you get it, it's fairly easy. The room was nice and spacious. Definitely recommend!

The hotel was ok. It’s part of 2 or 3 other hotels so check in was a little confusing and the pool was shared making it very busy. The pool area seemed a little dated. You had to wear a swimming cap or baseball cap but it was ok to not wear a T-shirt. The location is a little overwhelming but out towards the Capsule Cars is a lovely boardwalk and seafront area with nice bars and restaurants.

This hotel is very dirty with the smell of raw sewage coming through the kitchen sink even on the 17th floor. The common areas were filthy and the bathroom was full of mould. Our room was supposedly renovated in 2023 however I find this hard to believe given the condition it was in. The cupboards had been fitted dangerously so that if the light was on the open cupboards were burning on the light and the cupboards were all singed.

The beds were old and stained and had no padding. The Elevators are minimal and wait time is long. The hotel staff at check out was rude. This website won’t allow me to leave an honest review. The area is loud but close to a food market. We would not stay here again.

It was a good stay for one night, the view was awesome and very clean room

The staff never be there in the desk , no iron ,no big mirrors, hand towels for the body and for get to the 8floor have to get 3 elevator 🙄 I never recommend this hotel , to expensive what I get ,o don’t like this hotel never again to be there.

Close by to tons of amazing spots and restaurants. Staff was helpful and attentive to our needs.

There was a fire in the building recently. The burn smell wasn’t bad in our room, but awful everywhere else in the hotel, in corridors and elevators. Horrible!

THIS IS NOT A 3 STAR HOTEL. This is at best a 2 star hotel. And an uncomfortable one at that. The amenities all actually belong to the Sea Cloud Hotel (the elevator does also). The pool is not free, you get 2 tickets per day, which lets 2 of your family members go to the pool, and then you pay for the rest of them. You get 4 coffee cups and have to pay for more cups. You also have to pay for plates, bowls, chopsticks, silverware, and cooking utensils even though the room comes with a stove. The hotel itself is really inconvenient. There aren't any signs readily visible from the curb. not even my taxi driver knew where it was. He said "Go ask at Sea Cloud, it might be a mistake." You have to take te hidden elevator to the 4th floor, go past the desk for Sea Cloud to the other elevator, and then take that elevator to the 6th floor to check in to Sun Cloud. The room felt like a doctor's office. The lighting was cold, there's no decorations to speak of on the walls, no carpet. All of the places that looked like they'd be closet spaces to put your clothes were sealed shut. The shower had no pressure and was tiny. The floor was actually slippery. Even in bare feet. This hotel's plus side is that it's right by the busiest part of Haundae Beach. If you're into that, there are alot of touristy drinking and dining options nearby, complete with all the noise. You can easily go drink your sorrows away, but be careful not so slip on the floor when you get back to your room.

Location: Property was located within a 5-10min walk from Haeundae station, and a stone’s throw from the beach. Walkable to Mipo for the sky capsule. Plenty of dining options nearby Hotel: the hotel itself looked like it was in the middle of a renovation. Had to take at least two different lifts to reach the room. Room: overall spacious and clean, ocean view room came with a great view. Air conditioning was centrally controlled (cooling was only turned on between 9am-9pm). As a result the nights could be unbearably warm due to hot air coming out of the aircon vents. Only one pillow was provided, and we were told extra pillows could be rented at a cost which we found appalling

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Good location. Transfer of lift might be a little troublesome but for me i felt ok.

Hotel was on the cheaper end of spectrum. You get what you pay for. Little confusing because building contains 2 different hotels within 1 property. Mold/mildew under A/C and along ceilings throughout property. A/C is also turned off between 8pm and 8am, which they forgot to mention. Location itself was great, close to many dining options and the beach. subway was just over 5-7min walk away
