Toyoko Inn Daegu Dongseong-ro

Lage! Lage! Lage! Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig am Kreuzungpunkt zweier U-Bahnen und etlicher Buslinien. Die Straße vor dem Haus ist verkehrsberuhigt und um die Ecke sind halbe Fußgängerzonen. Das Hotel selber ist nichts Besonderes: Kleine Zimmerchen, 08/15 Frühstück (Toast mit Marmelade, Ei, Kaffee, Reis mit Grünzeug (Kimchi und Co.)), Massenabfertigung. Gesunde Sachen wie Obst fehlen (außer Dosenfutter). Das Hotel ist auf dem Plan nicht leicht zu finden. Die Lobby und der Speisesaal sind in der 7. Etage. Die beiden nächstgelegenen Ausgänge der U-Bahn sind Nr. 12 und 13 (Banwoldang). Jeden Tag wurden neue Handtücher geliefert (Umweltbewusstsein?).

Very very clean, friendly staff. No frills, but everything you need, neat and in working order. Hard bed and pillows—but this is not uncommon in S Korea. Breakfast is Korean style, which might not appeal to some, but everything was fresh. Location is great—subway a short walk away, small restaurants right across the street, shopping around the corner.

Great location near the subway and walking to all the sites, large breakfast that changed daily (although limited options for vegetarians), and a clean and comfortable room. Overall a great choice in Daegu! The only annoyance is the 10am check out, which is really early.

Many stores and resraurant around the property

This is a pretty good place to stay short-term. I’m not sure about the level of cleaning in the bathroom—there was a urine stain from a previous tenant…But I liked how quiet the room was. There was only one pillow and it wasn’t particularly comfortable, so I did struggle to sleep a bit. The location is great. **Pay attention to the signage when you arrive. I got dropped off at the parking garage and had to walk down with my bags. The real entrance is to the left (next to the giant statues). The elevators to find the hotel can be confusing.

The front staff was always helpful and the kitchen were so polite and food was good. It wasn't a five star hotel, but there are no complaints.

The check in process wasn’t the best. They made us wait until exactly 4:00 pm to check in even while I seen 2 other couples check in before us. Then when I went to the same lady she pretended she didn’t know who I was. Horrible

Great location.

Hotel is nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is clean. Bathroom is on the smaller size but still ok. Breakfast is ok. Better selection on some days than others. Location is good. Near subway station with many restaurants and shops nearby.

Clean place, beds were a bit hard. Great location to shopping and fun. I only stayed one night, so I didn't need more amenities than what was provided. 7th floor rooms aren't the best if you're a light sleeper.

This property has many amenities youd desire out of a hotel, including free breakfast- but is also very affordable.

I showed up early and they held my bag for me until time for check-in. It's the little things that will make me a return guest.

Location was near the subway and in vibrant part of Daegu. Hotel is in a shared building with other amenities. Good experience with friendly staff. Breakfast provided was quite nice too.
