Execellent location and lovely hotel comfy room / bed

We really liked the hotel's location. It was easy to get into the Old Town and to the beach area. Also we had a great view of the Arts & Science Park from our room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. Our only disappointment was the standard of the breakfast. The hot food items were not really hot and seemed to have been out for a while. Also the fresh fruit, although plentiful, did not have much variety. For the price of the breakfast, we had expected better. Having said that, we were happy with all other aspects of our stay, and would definitely return.

Friendly and helpful staff.. and a great location

The hotel is a wonderful location. An easy bus ride to the city & beach. Plenty of nearby restaurants too and bike hire. Lovely rooftop space with very small pool. Peaceful bar overlooking architectural buildings. Small gym which even with 4 people was tight. Rooms are a good size with fridge.

Excellent reception experience. Great rooftops bar and pool. Breakfast had lots of choice, very good quality, and good value. Big room with views over the city. Only issue was the lack of hot water in the shower.

We will be back . Great hotel and service.

everything was amazing! We mentioned we were going to madrid next and one of the staff who is from there gave us recommendations for great food places!

Not nice property

Great welcoming staff, always pleasant and helpful, from check-in, cleaning staff, and restaurant/bar staff. The room was cleaned daily, with clear instructions on sustainability, which was much appreciated. Staff helped me and my needs as a person with a disability, especially during the morning buffet.

We had a very good stay at the Barceló Valencia. The hotel is in a great location, the cleanliness was excellent, and our room was both spacious and quiet. However, the property is looking a little tired in places, with some loose flooring, chipped paint, and a messy shower seal. We also found the bathroom layout a bit strange, as there was no main door and only a frosted glass door for the toilet. Overall a good experience, but it could use a little refreshing.

The breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed the rooftop bar and pool. Our only issue was that the bathroom didn't have a door.

One gentleman was friendly at the desk along with the chamber maid. The other ladies at the front desk were unfriendly. The clothes steamer was not functional and the one we were offered as a replacement also broken. We were impressed by the tidyness and space in the room. Nice location with many restaurants and views of the modern Arts and Science District.

The hotels location is good. Beautiful views of the City of Science and within walking distance of the outer rim of the old town. Overall the staff was good. The room was comfortable but housekeeping was spotty. Taxis were readily available and Uber was as well. Bus stops were nearby.

Clean room. Great views from the rooftop bar. Easy to get to old town and also the beach.

We were not informed in advance that the Pool & the sunbathing area around the pool would be completely closed for the duration of our stay…. If we had been notified in advance we would have cancelled our booking and arranged an alternative hotel with those facilities….. when we brought the issue up with the hotel they just said it’s on our website…. ( I didn’t see this and despite the fact they sent numerous emails in advance offering paid upgrades, requesting advance information etc they never mentioned it….. very poor )

The hotels is wonderful!

The a/c didn’t work in the room. They came to try and fix it but couldn’t so had to control it from Reception during our stay! Breakfast seemed very expensive for a 4 star hotel.

The 270 bar on top of the building was quite nice (before sunset). The pool was not open yet (or difficult to find), so cannot comment on that.
