Hotel Roma Reial

No ice no hair dryers. Smallest tv in room. No soap. But had a lovely little breakfast room and good location. But if you get a room that faces the courtyard beware they party all night long .

Horrible place to stay for what you pay. Will never return. Bare minimal, nothing works, no help or assistance from the staff, place is nasty!

Room was just fine. Location the best. Staff very helpful. The breakfast offering and space not up par. Items offered were not that great and the room itself smells nasty. Doubt it’s there fault but there is a sewer or septic leak nearby, imho. Not a pleasant atmosphere to eat in so I went to Amonpola each morning.

No Air Conditioning in room even though they advertise that they have it. Told after checking in and going to the room which was about 85 degrees that they only have central heat this time of year. Advised we couldn't stay in that hot room and need to cancel booking. No refund has been issued by either the hotel or hotel.com. Would not recommend this property

While the lift is being repaired and despite a staff member taking your bags to the room, climbing 4 flights of stairs after a full day of site seeing is hard work. As well as coming down them after your stay. Although there are many signs reminding you to keep quiet in the hallways and the rooms, many guests ignore this and the walls are paper thin (I could hear the man next door using the toilet). Great location

A very spartan third world type room. No amenities in the room other than a 13” tv and heat that didn’t work. Room came with (4) single beds? Really? For my wife and I?? I would not have booked if I had known we couldn’t sleep together as there was no way to connect the beds. Went to call front desk and what else…? The phone didn’t work!! Lousy “breakfast” or what ever they called it which consisted of croissants, rolls and plain muffins? Is that considered breakfast in Spain?? Totally disappointing space and staff seemed indifferent to any concerns we voiced. No soap, Kleenex or face towels…really? I’ve been in hostels better stocked than that!! Oh, and I almost forgot….elevator was out and we are traveling for 7 weeks this trip so we have 2 large and very tightly packed suitcases. It was so nice of the hotel staff to offer help us lug our suitcases up to the 4th floor (83 steps!!)…oh wait, they never offered to help….they just stood there and watched us struggle away!! To put bluntly….this place sucks!! The only thing this place had going for it was the location!!

The lift was broken for the entirety of our stay. There was only 1 socket in thw room. My daughter smells of wee and poo

3 positives 1) great location 2) friendly staff 3) they let us check in real early 3 negatives 1) elevator was broken- we were on 4! 2) pillow was an inch thick 3) walls are paper thin

Room was old. Air conditioner not working. Was glad to stay for a night. A plus are the square plaza where plenty of eatery. Not a favourite Hotel.

Excelente ubicación..Muebles viejos, aire no enfriaba bien. Extractor sucio, tubo de la cortina de baño con moho. Colchas de cama antiguas! Elevador pequeño. No acceso a desayuno en elevador y se encontraba planta baja. Te prestan el secador por una hora! Para dormir y bañarse está normal.

Hotel is located thru walkway to open square in rear. Taxis cannot access ecept pulling over on sidewalk to unload. Room very adequate and clean. Too much noise at night. Square had loud program going on from 2 am till 600 am. Walls thin.

Great Location, clean but basic room. Staff helpful. Close to Hop on, Hop off bus stop.

The best feature of this hotel is location. Everything else is bad. Room was very small and the bed and pillows were terrible. Washroom had just a couple of towels and nothing else. The agent at the front desk was rude and argumentative. Breakfast was pitiful - yogurt, a couple of pastries and a coffee machine - that was all. I will never stay in that hotel again.

Very basic, bare bones room. Overpriced for what you’re getting. It’s in a good area though. Rooms were kind of clean. Beds are not very comfortable

Good location but noisy at night. Room given had no window very oppressive. Changed room to with balcony. Rooms extremely basic no hair dryer or glasses or anything. Continental breakfast very poor no toaster no fruit cheese ham etc. Staff ok

Need exhaust fan in the bedroom badly. A hair drying in the room will be nice .

Great location for dining, drinking and sight seeing.

The hotel staff is spectacular. The hotel is in a "party" part of town. This makes it noisy. The rooms are very small but clean. The price is great, but the area can be sketchy.

I was delighted to find the hotel located on our favorite square in Barcelona. A good sized room, comfortable beds. However, I got cold the first night and had to go hunting for additional blankets. The toilet did not shut off after flushing, but was promptly fixed when reported. If I stay again, I will request a room NOT overlooking the square, which was noisy well into wee hours of Sunday night. Walls thin- enough to hear a lively couple in adjacent room (think Sleepless in Seattle restaurant scene). For soap, you must use shower gel packets. Essentially one plug with three outlets that hangs from high on the wall near the (tiny) TV. Sadly, no token English language channel. Continental breakfast, bread and yogurt and cereal- carb heavy. The night clerk friendly and accommodating.
