Excessive road noise. Could not sleep. Good breakfast. Staff was nice. Otherwise average.

A nice hotel that's quite close to Plaça de Catalunya and La Rambla, but without the congestion and noise. All the staff were very helpful and all speak English. Breakfast buffet was lovely and so many options. Alma from the bar was very accommodating and gave us some tips on where to eat and go, and Chaima from the breakfast buffet was also wonderful. Would stay here again if ever I'm back in Barcelona.

Staying at the Icon BCN was such a wonderful experience. We found the hotel to be perfectly located in the city and my teens loved having the metro stop right outside the doors. The breakfast was delicious and we pleasantly found that there was something for even my pickiest eaters. The staff was friendly (Marti) and very helpful when we checked in. Patiently answering all of our questions and even pulled out a map for us to take along, marking all of the important areas. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Such a perfect place for our family and we would definitely stay again when in Barcelona.

The room was nice and the facilities in general good with an excellent location. However, it smelled like cigarettes. We notified the front desk and they simply advised it was a non-smoking hotel. The cigarette smell in our room was atrocious.

Breakfast was truly the highlight of our stay—it gave us the perfect boost of energy to get out and explore each day. The food was fresh and delicious, with plenty of great options. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always friendly, making the mornings even more enjoyable. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, which made coming back at the end of the day so relaxing. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Location and food. Breakfast was on par with establishments 10x larger. Every morsel of food was really great. Breakfast and dinner, clearly handmade moments before on premises. Really top shelf. Nice comfortable proper mattresses.

I had an excellent stay at ICON BCN and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona. The location is amazing. Super convenient to everything and everywhere. You are surrounded by a supermarket and great pockets of local restaurants, which makes daily life easy. The hotel entrance is unique, and the back and lower level where breakfast is served offer plenty of space to relax and enjoy the experience. I also loved how close it is to a kids gym and activity center. Seeing local kids and parents together gave the area a very authentic neighborhood feel. I give this hotel 5 stars for the following reasons. • Outstanding proximity • Responsive and friendly front desk and staff • Very reasonable pricing for both family trips and business stays compared to nearby hotels • Strong focus on staying competitive while still delivering quality care • Amazing breakfast team. Special shoutout to Marta and Irish for taking care of every guest, even during the busiest hours • Excellent breakfast selection • Big thanks to the front desk for preparing a breakfast picnic box for my early departure A few areas for improvement. • Some room maintenance needed attention. The toilet paper holder was broken on arrival and there was visible floor wear • Housekeeping was consistent overall, but two days stood out where the cleaning was less detailed Overall, it has been a great stay. The staff very helpful , the room and bathroom were clean and well equipped, the breakfast was superb. I really recommend this hotel excellent location.

Great accommodation, breakfast, and walkable, just two blocks from main center!

Pros: great central location, nice modern lobby with plenty of seating, free breakfast was good. It was European style. Cons: rooms was run down with hole in walls and markings, lots of mold in the shower, housekeeping never stocked the toilet paper (we had to go to the front desk for it 3x) Marta at the front desk wasn't very pleasant. My 3 star rating is because every single night past 9 am their were 3 kids running, screaming and banging around. The last night I called the front desk to report the inappropriate behavior and it took over an hour for those kids to stop.

Great location, very friendly staff, cute boutique hotel. The breakfast spread was very good with amazing selections. The negatives were that it is very noisy (thin walls) and hotel is on automatic heat during winter months except 4th floor where you can control the temperature. After 2 nights of overheating, we asked to be moved the the 4th floor and they did without any issues. I just wished we would have known prior to checking in. I would come back and stay!

Excelente relación precio - calidad. Bibi excelente atención en recepción. La única observación que tengo es relativa a los platos y vasos del desayunador, estaban sucios con olor a un mal lavado, recomendaría revisar esto

I stayed 3 days two night I had to hear all the noise of the school besides which starts at 8 am and the second night it was 9pm and the kids where still shouting!!! I went to the lobby and people couldn’t resolve it at all. It was until the last night that the manager could change my room and he was very kind but o would not recommend stayin there if you get any of the rooms in the back of the hotel. In fact they told us was given an upgrade of my first room and it was really fair nothing special. One other thing the A/C of the hotel was turned off and the heating on. That should only depend on the guest preferences
