We stayed in the quadruple room as a family of four and the room was spacious and comfortable. Great location and the rooftop pool was perfect for cooling off. Buffet breakfast was also very good.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a generally positive experience until our final morning. Around 6 a.m. on our last day, a strong sewage smell began coming out of the AC unit in our room. It was overwhelming and made the room unusable. We called the front desk immediately. They asked when we were checking out, and when they heard it was later that day, they simply said they would send a technician “later.” No room change was offered, no apology, and no compensation for what was clearly a maintenance and hygiene issue that cut our last morning short. To make matters worse, after we left I realized I had left one AirPod in the room. The hotel confirmed they found it, but when we asked them to mail it to us (we live in a nearby city), they instead turned it over to a third-party company that wanted to charge us $50 to return a single AirPod. That felt like a poor way to handle a straightforward lost-and-found situation. Until these issues are addressed—especially the AC/sewage smell and the lost-item policy—I can’t recommend this property, despite the otherwise nice stay.

Great staff!

This property is super unique, and centrally located to most everything in Barcelona. We arrived super early from a cruise and the front desk was happy to stow our luggage and give is breakfast recommendations. Once the room was ready, we noticed the pool area outside, which was nice to sit around for a drink. In the morning, theres a super spacious eating area downstairs, with pretty legit food. Finally, there is a ton of shopping and eateries right around the corner.

I made a mistake on dates. They would not change to the desired dates and charged me for the dates that I cpuld not use. Expedia, also could not help me.

Fantastic stay! The front desk staff was welcoming and quick to check us in. Our room was spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable kids loved the bunk beds . Wi-Fi was fast. The location is within a five-minute walk to the main plaza and local restaurants. Breakfast spread was delicious! Perfect base for exploring the city! wonderful stay from check in to check out. Highly recommend!!

Excellent hotels!

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at ICON Barcelona. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The breakfast was excellent—just as many other reviews had mentioned—with a great variety of fresh and delicious options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona.

Oh my gosh everything about this hotel was great. The highlight for sure was Celia and her amazing customer service. She is the best concierge and the kindest person in town. Bravo to her and for making our stay outstanding!!

My family and I stayed here one night. We didn't eat on site, but my husband said the breakfast looked lovely. As a whole, we were comfortable. The "pool" was very shallow, but refreshing enough. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was spacious. Staff was nice. I would say there were two downsides (prefacing by stating this was not an inexpensive hotel): 1) I booked the quadruple room, which looked in the pictures to have a bit of privacy between the bunk beds and the king bed. Our room had no separation. In addition, when we pulled our curtain open, our view was of a concrete wall about 3 ft away. Very disappointing. 2) The TV had very few channels, and they were all in Spanish. Yes, I recognize we were in Spain; however, even in a small hotel in Athens, the TV was a smart TV and we could log into Netflix and stream our own shows. When you're traveling and have jetlag, sometimes watching TV can be soothing.

Very friendly and helpful staff and always willing to help. This hotel is Ina great location- on block away from major shopping and metro station. My room was ready early and I was able to check in at 11am. The breakfast was great - made or order omelets and pancakes, coffee machine with lots of options, and free cava! Will definitely stay here if I go back and felt very safe as a solo traveler! Thank you, ICON!

The hotel and staff were great! The only problem was that I felt the springs in the mattress. Besides that everything was wonderful. They also have an amazing breakfast and staff working the kitchen.

After a long flight we had the best stay at Icon BCN. We slept like babies and were treated like royalty. The beds were very comfortable and we felt right at home.

Unfortunately, our stay did not begin as expected because the air conditioning in our room was not working. After a long flight, we arrived exhausted and were looking forward to resting, so this was particularly inconvenient. The hotel offered us alternative rooms for the night; however, because only double rooms were available, our family had to be separated despite having booked and prepaid a quadruple room several months in advance. Since it was already late in the evening, we spoke with Natalia at the front desk and requested that she contact the manager regarding compensation for the inconvenience. We were initially offered a 10% discount on our stay. We later learned that another guest's room was also experiencing air conditioning issues. The following day, the hotel moved us to a different room, and Alejandro, the manager, personally spoke with us. He was very apologetic and acknowledged the inconvenience caused by the situation, which we appreciated. While we were grateful for the staff's efforts to resolve the issue, the disruption to the first night of our stay and the need for our family to be split into separate rooms significantly impacted our experience.

We stayed on floor 3 one night and floor 2 one night. The air conditioning on floor 3 was definitely minimal, it was better on floor 2 but not cold by any means. Staff were amazing, very clean. Breakfast is fine, typical contentinal.

The hotel was clean, breakfast was sooo good! Perfectly located! Staff were amazing!
