Perfect hotel in the middle of all the action and sights.

This is simply your home away from home in Barcelona. I can’t describe how great and nice were the staff. ALL THE STAFF. The location is phenomenal and everything is around you. I will definitely come back here again. Thank you for making our trip to Barcelona so special.

Great hotel, super convenient location in the Gothic Quarter. The only downside was street construction at the time of visit.

This hotel falls well short of a 5-star standard in its current condition and is in clear need of a full renovation. The lobby feels tired, with stained carpets, worn-out sofas and cushions, and visible wear throughout. The restaurant carpet is torn, and the rooms themselves have very basic, dated fit-outs. Breakfast was another disappointment — easily the most basic we have experienced at a so-called 5-star property, with the exact same limited menu offered for five consecutive days. Another major downside is the hotel’s port pickup service, priced from €160, while a standard taxi costs around €26 — an unjustifiable markup. The location is the hotel’s strongest asset. Despite ongoing roadworks on La Rambla over the past two years, it still offers convenient access to hop-on hop-off buses, airport transfers, shopping areas, and many historical attractions within walking distance. Overall, our experience was disappointing. At its current state, the hotel is not worth the price tag, and we would not return unless significant improvements are made.

Friendly staff, comfortable, clean and quiet room in a great location

We had a great experience and an enjoyable stay. The staff's genuine concern, and outstanding professionalism turned it into a reminder of how much they value their guests. Every interaction throughout our stay was marked by warmth, attentiveness, and kindness. It was an absolute pleasure for all of us, and we will certainly choose this hotel again whenever we’re in Barcelona. Wonderful Stay at Le Méridien Barcelona Our time at Le Méridien Barcelona was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel’s location right on Las Ramblas is perfect — close to the Gothic Quarter, shops, and restaurants, yet peaceful and elegant inside. The staff were consistently welcoming, attentive, and professional, making us feel truly cared for. The room was modern, spotless, and comfortable, with thoughtful details and a great view of the city. Breakfast was generous and delicious, offering both international and local Catalan choices. We also appreciated the relaxing lounge and the stylish lobby bar — ideal spots to unwind after a day of exploring. Overall, Le Méridien Barcelona exceeded expectations in every way. Highly recommended for anyone visiting this beautiful city — we’ll gladly return!

I always know what to expect at a Marriott property. Le meridian did not disappoint. Ricardo provided excellent Tapas suggestion and booked last minute Flamenco and dinner for us.

Robin was very helpful at checkin and our room was ready by 10:00 AM. Extremely welcome surprise.

Very professional Staff and clean rooms

Everything was great

On arrival was given welcome drink. The room quality was not luxury Damaged furnishings like chair and tables Location wise was good Breakfast was ok the staff at breakfast time could not do enough. Provided coffees were really helpful Staff were ok wouldn’t say they did anything special considering it was our honeymoon Overall can’t say whether I would stay again or not

Great location nice staff

Hotel staff (front desk,lobby and all around) is very friendly and helpful. They accommodated all our requests and guided us with getting around and local activities. Will surely stay again if visiting Barcelona and staying in La Rambla.

Le Meridian is conveniently located in the Rambla. The family suite is worn out. We stayed there because of no quality hotel was available.
