Excellent location, short walk to everything. Ran like clockwork. Hotel was really nice and clean. Would highly recommend. Can't think of any negatives.

Very large hotel next to marina. 5 minutes walk to marina, the old town areas, and C6 bus-stop to/from airport.
Breakfast buffet was good, food options in the lobby bar for snacks or quick evening meal was also good.
Beds are firm and comfortable, sea view room was spacious but rather minimalist in design/decoration.
Staff pleasant and helpful.

First room was overlooking building works of new pool. Balcony had been refurbished and was not finished. Dusty, bits of concrete, writing on tiles and duty footprints in room. Guest experience handled our complaint efficiently and gave us a new room which was much better. Also sent us cava and cakes to apologise as it was my birthday . Only let down in new room was it was a sea view executive junior suite but the location meant you had a view of the side of the adjacent buildings on both sides of balcony so not best sea view

Really enjoyed our stay, the amenities and the location are all great! Cristina was wonderful on reception and our room was modern, comfortable and even had rituals toiletries in, which was the icing on the cake.

We had an amazing stay. Room was spacious modern and clean, this was just a regular double room. Breakfast was up there with the best I’ve ever had in a hotel and the panoramic view over the beach and sea was amazing
So close to everything in Alicante. We had a marina view balcony and it was bliss to sit there in the afternoon and evenings in the sunshine

Loved staying here. I've been coming to the same hotel for 3 years in a row as a short vacay with my sister and it's always fabolous. The view from the hotel is more than fabolous, we stayed in a premium room and the view was amazing to the sea and the beach.

Nice hotel but was a little disappointed. The room was so hot and was unable to turn the heating off, they offered a fan but meant we had to sleep with the balcony door opened so was very loud, also the tv continuously turned on by itself which was really annoying at night. We had to ask them to unplug it on 2nd night. Had mentioned it was my wife’s birthday, hoping they may have offered something and got an email back asking if I wanted balloons for 55 euros or balloons, cake and cava for 160! Thought that was ridiculous and on check out no one even asked if we had a nice stay. Nice place but left disappointed.

Meliá Alicante has superb views of beech and easy access to promenade and eating house across the road. Our half board option gave us varieties of dining menu such as paella steak lamb chops and many veggie options for my wife.

This is a lovely immaculately kept hotel. The staff are friendly throughout the hotel. This is our third time staying and the room allocated seemed to have less sound proofing and we had several disturbed nights due to noise of doors slamming and chairs scraping unfortunately. Breakfast is excellent and varied although the hot food could be hotter and the evening meals in the restaurant were excellent. Great base to explore the city, the beaches and castle.
