Micampus Barcelona Student Residence

Perfectly fine for a couple of nights, although probably wouldn’t recommend much longer than that. Cleaning team were understaffed which meant common spaces were quite dirty with overflowing bins and dirty floors/elevators. Rooms were clean when we arrived but floors quickly got gross due to hallways not being cleaned well each day so you’re just constantly bringing stuff in on your shoes or it blows under the door. Theres a kitchen in each room but no utensils which is a bit annoying. I think if you advertise cooking spaces there should be more than one fork and one pot to work with. Totally understand that it’s budget student accomodation but dont think that lower nightly rates should mean that guests have to endure, for the most part, pretty grotty conditions. In short, you get what you pay for I guess?!

Very comfortable single room with kitchenette. It had what I needed for a few nights. Very clean and cleaning staff were very helpful. Not a bad location. Easy to access city, two quick buses to the airport and the roof pool was a blessing in the heat. Would stay again.

Excellent accommodation for my requirements. Easy access to public transport system and Beach.

This is a student dormitory, with some rooms preserved for guests booking. At such a low price, I'm in general satisfied with the stay. Room has bed, bathroom, desk, and even a little kitchen. There was no room service. I'm fine using two towels for my stay of 7 days. Location is good, walkable distance to Barcelona conventional center.

Quiet area, not far from the seaside, 5 minutes walk from the metro station, clean and spacious, good service

No amenities besides towels. They didn’t give us more toilet paper when we ran out. Staff was great. Location was alright.

Great vibes for young solo travelers or couples.

I’ve stayed here a couple of times and it’s okay. It’s not a hotel, it’s student dorms, but it’s been quiet both times (early November) and the rooms are fine. There’s a little kitchen with induction rings and a microwave, a big desk, and a bed. The mattresses are very firm, which I normally like but they tested even me. The people are friendly and the location is great for CCIB, which is why I chose this place.

clean room, only problem was that the bathroom door wouldn't close.

Its a simple check in with an elctronic app door access. Rooms are clean and you are given towels and shower gel/shampoo(not the best but its still something). Facilities are decent. Its not far from metro, bus stop and trams. Overall a good place to stay. Can get a bit noisy on the streets sometimes(but imo u wont find a qiet place in barca)

It was a decent accommodation, easy access and travel route to the city centre

This is a student campus trying to make extra money with vacant rooms, they have no clue to run a hotel whatsoever. Very noisy environment with bare minimum facility (No kettle. no glass or mug, no tv.......,.

Great place.

The property had an unpleasant odor, often resembling rotten fish. The kitchen equipment was dirty, outdated, and largely unusable — including worn-out Teflon pans. The stove didn’t work and there were no instructions provided on how to operate it. The tap water had a strong chlorine smell and didn’t seem safe to drink, and unfortunately, no bottled water was provided upon arrival. On a positive note, the check-in staff were friendly and communicated well throughout the process.

Staff were very helpful These are like dorm rooms - so not a hotel. Stayed one night perfect for what I needed and significantly cheaper than any hotel I could find

I used to really love this place a couple of years back, but sadly over the last two years I’ve noticed the property and room conditions keep getting worse with each stay. The main pro is definitely the cost if you’re looking for a private room in Barcelona—it’s hard to find cheaper. But beyond the price, the quality and upkeep just aren’t what they used to be, which is disappointing.

Great place to walk and bike from to enjoy Barcelona. Excellent and inexpensive room and facilities in the building.
