The Parador is located in a very unique place. It is in the National Park, with amazing pine trees, dunes, limestone cliffs, and miles of sand beaches. The views from our room were amazing. And to wake up to the sound of waves and scent of pine trees was an incredible experience. The location is very quiet - there is nothing else but the parador and its protected beach for miles. At the same time, the town of Mozagon with many restaurants is in 8 min drive. But we did not need to go to the town for food: the restaurant at the Parador is excellent and very reasonably priced. All the employees were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good, but it was a good value at a discounted price that we received. Otherwise, at the full price, it may feel not worth it. Overall, this was such a unique experience. We will be back next year!

A great Parador with large gardens, a very good sized pool and pool bar/restaurante. The main restaurant was also very good as was the bar and bar menu with more variety than normal Parador bar menus. The bar seating areas were also very good with options inside and outside.

This Paradore is very very dated in its decor and furniture. The pool area is not looked after with dead grass in many places on the lawn through non watering. The chairs and tables on its outside terrace were of very low quality as were the sun beds around the pool. There were obviously not enough staff on duty with long delays waiting to be served at the bar. The breakfast serving was very chaotic with no hot buffet and long waits for the chef to arrive to cook hot dishes. We won’t visit this hotel again and can’t recommend it to others.

The surroundings are fantastic. The beach is breathtaking although accessible (on the property) by a long and picturesque wooden stairway. The reception staff were efficient but not overly welcoming. The property itself looked like it could use some tender loving care (e.g. thatched sun umbrellas around the (unheated) pool broken and collapsed. The food in the restaurant was good although, again, the service was efficient but not particularly friendly. The room was fine and with a great view.

Great setting, beautiful view. Free parking. Nice indoor pool, sauna and spa. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Spoke sufficient English. Cleaning staff was very helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. That's the positives. Negatives: The rooms, buildings and landscaping were dated and much in need of some work. First floor room with wonderful sea view was a nightmare with all the noise from guests staying above us. Difficult to sleep at night and difficult to relax in the room during the day. Not sure why someone needed to be above us as the place was near empty the middle of December. Food was expensive and service was uninspired. Wifi was intermittent.

This was to have been a special celebration. We've stayed in this hotel before. The position is second to none. I paid quite a lot more to upgrade to a suite with a Queen sized bed rather than the usual two singles pushed together. On arrival we were allocated room 8. This was in a block that resembled a cattle shed. The room was large but there was a strong smell of damp and plaster was hanging off the walls. This was not Parador standard no matter how lovely the position. Had we stayed there my asthma would have been very bad. We were moved to room 75, in the standard accommodation area. The room was dry, clean, and had a pleasant outlook. Eventually a kettle was sourced from house keeping so that we could make a cup of tea. For dinner we visited the restaurant. The standard of service and quality of cuisine were world class. I contacted Expedia in order to get the difference returned to me. It was not immediately obvious how this could be done. There was a phone number but, you've guessed it, premium charges apply! Somehow I managed to contact their customer support and someone rang me back when we were having dinner. She'd had all day to call but no, it had to be at dinner time. I leave my phone in the room when visiting the dining room. She emailed me back saying that she could not understand my complaint. The matter is ongoing. We enjoyed our two night stay so much that we booked for a third night but directly with the hotel this time!

We visited 25 years ago. Little appears to have changed. Lovely grounds and pool. Pool-side bar and food function not yet opened in mid May (disappointing). The downstairs food offering in the main building is reasonable and the breakfast is good. We found the food (and prices) in the main restaurant for dinner not to our taste. But it's quite a way outside the parador to any nearby decent food!
