Just a quick stop over - had a v nice meal in the hotel. Parking is excellent - a must for us. A great view of the old town across the river from our very spacious room. Only wish they had tea & coffee in the room.

An unbeatable view over the city from our large room. Walkable to the city if reasonably fit. Very convenient parking. Rated 4 stars as the food choice in the cafeteria is rather limited, and the meals only average. Otherwise, the hotel is excellent.

We have lived in Spain for over 12 months now. Generally speaking we have been impressed with the quality of food in shops and eating out in cafes/restaurants. Much better than UK. But at The Parador the quality of food was poor, not good quality and comparatively expensive. It’s difficult to criticise when taking one main item from a menu. But we would not go back there to eat.
It’s a shame because the hotel is good quality and the staff are very good. (Even in the restaurant!)

Nice hotel for a road trip through Salamanca, at least we used it for that. We were able to walk the town from the hotel very easily. It was hot though, but the hotel is close to the main historic centre. Great room, comfortable and clean, specially after a day of driving and walking.
