Parador De Verin

The character of the property was very well retained and our room was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent but the evening meal had a disappointing menu and was not available until a late hour

Check in was easy staff really friendly. Our room was lovely with a beautiful view of the garden. Great parking. Stunning location and views. Definitely worth a visit loved the location and easy walk to the old Parador that is being restored.

Like staying in a castle, a beautiful property on top of a hill overlooking surrounding towns and villages.. Great staff and amenities. Easy parking!!!

There were eight of us on motorcycles loved the hotel it was second from last on our trip, I also liked the walk for the evening meal at the other hotel 600meters away.

We stayed at Parador de Verin Ourense since we wanted a stop between our trip between the western coast of Galicia and Madrid. This hotel was exceptional value off-season (second week in April) and is situated high up on a hillside over looking valley and right beside the Castillo de Monterrei (3 min walk). Our rooms were impeccable, very comfortable and the evening were very quiet with the sounds of owls in the forest nearby. We ate at the restaurant which opens at 2030, for those not accustomed to eating much later and typical Spanish dinner times. The staff were very patience with our limited Spanish language, but that should not deter anyone considering Parador De Verin since there is an understanding of English. Hiking and other sights and activities in the local area have been identified for the guests. A very peaceful place when we visited and highly recommended!

Very enjoyable stay. Brilliant 180 degree views from gardens and pool. Excellent breakfast too.

Not the best parador in the chain.Staff need some customer service lessons especially on reception.

Quarto absolutamente limpo e equipado à imagem da qualificação traduzida em estrelas. Funcionários extremamente atenciosos e simpáticos, tão simpáticos que mesmo a chegar às 4 horas da manhã com uma Harley Davidson (com extremo cuidado da minha parte , mas absolutamente impossível de lá chegar com a mota desligada) sou recebido com largo sorriso e com absoluta compreensão de que nada poderia fazer :) Pequeno almoço diversificado e com produtos adequados à região. Vistas magníficas com um jardim aparentemente confortável e piscina para refrescar em dias de calor. Infelizmente para mim, não consegui usufruir do agradável espaço exterior uma vez que a chuva optou também por aparecer . Recomendo.

Las habitaciones necesitan actualizar pero la atención personal compensan los pequeños inconvenientes

Altes Haus wie fast immer bei den die Paradores (zumal bei Preisen unter 80€) aber sehr gutes Management (genug Personal, welches sich wirklich kümmert). Pool öffnet erst am 15.6. Herrliche Aussicht und Ruhe. Restaurants in Verin auf Sterne Niveau (Regueiro da Cova), Vinoteca ist immer wieder ein Erlebnis Gerne immer wieder - Viva Paradores

el sitio es precioso, el parador está bastante bien, un poco frias las habitaciones, pero amplias y con unas vistas muy bonitas. El único contra, la lentitud para hacer el check out…

Vi var der i fem netter og mine foreldre i fire. Kunne med fordel kostet noen€mindre. Særlig frokosten var tynn" burde vært tydelig på mulighetene for egg. Savnet grønnsaker som: tomat, salat, paprika osv Manglende engelskkunnskaper hos de på kjøkken/servering/bar. Vi var der i anledning av stort selskap og det var utmerket, både service og mat.

La primera idea que te da al llegar es que este parador lo van a cerrar próximamente. Las instalaciones parecen del siglo pasado. El mantenimiento no existe desde hace muchos años. Personal insuficiente. Por ejemplo se puede ver que el secador de pelo que está en el baño es de hace por lo menos 40 años. Las toallas están deshilachadas

Extraordinario servicio

Sehr schönes Ambiente, alter umgebauter Palast, wie viele Paradores. Leider sehr, sehr hellhörig. Sogar das Schnarchen aus dem Nachbarzimmer ist durch die Oropax noch deutlich vernehmbar.
