The property is nicely located walking distance to Barcelona city stores, malls and other attractions. The staff is super nice and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Room was just perfect in terms of value and the time we were there. The only hiccup we encountered was at the time of arrival, there was no front area staff to check us in. It seems that there is no one available before 10 am. We had to do it via email.

The location was wonderful! Although, it was a bit difficult to find at first since it was through a large locked door on the city street vs having a typical "hotel entrance". Very clean, helpful staff. Do wish the A/C could have been lowered further, but I think that was more of a European thing vs this particular hotel. Overall, would recommend and would stay here again! :)

This is a great option if you are looking to stay in an affordable and convenient place! Such a great location and the staff was phenomenal. Traveling as a group of young girls to a country where you don’t speak the language can be scary, but this hotel was perfect. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Great location.. propular sites in walkable diatance. Staff were helpful until check out day, couldnt get ahold of staff initally for a safe luggage storage place, once contact was made we were asked to leave our bags under a desk in the lobby. Reception is not staffed during houra deacribed on expedia.

Great location. Took Aerobus from airpirt; 5.60euro pp to the universitat, 20 min ride, then 3 min walk to hotel. Metro is also at same stop so very convenient. Staff were friendly but a bit of language barrier. We had room 110, basic but spotless and spacious enough. Sheets were super white and towels good quality. Nice bathroom with rainfall shower. We just needed extra towels and was accommodated. Took had a safe, always a plus . No fridge. Very small window in room but was ok as we were just there to sleep. Lots if shops restaurants and cafe near by. Loved being so close to gothic quarter. Receptions kept our luggage secure on check out for evening flight. Great price would definitely return for a short stay.

We loved it here.
We had originally booked an AirBnB but unfortunately, when we arrived it was not as described and we had to leave. Thankfully we managed to book in here and the staff were hugely helpful (asking us if we needed them to ring other hotels to cover the first night that they couldn't). They also helped us fix my boyfriends glasses when they broke with some glue they had on hand.
The place was clean, well presented and perfectly situated close to food, transport and sightseeing. Overall, a great place with great staff in a great location. I'd definitely stay here again.
It's also close to where the bus drops you from the airport! Super handy!

Signage to find the Hostal is easily missed. The rooms were exceptionally clean...until the last night (of 3) when we killed a solitary cockroach. We explored as far as we could walk (as far as the Sagreda Familia in one direction and Montjuc Magic Fountain in the other, and all points in between) but would have needed a few more days to explore further afield by transit. The price forced us to leave Barcelona for more affordable and less crowded destinations in Spain.

In a good area but the beds were really hard and the door to the bathroom was even on the track so it wouldn't slide open properly. Also this hotel says it has an airport shuttle and that is a lie we had to take the metro on the way there from the airport and a taxi to the airport.
