Posada Lunada

Everything was very good. The room was clean. The breakfast was very good with generous portions. The gentleman who checked me in spoke English very well and gave me several suggestions on places to visit which I did visit and enjoyed. The room was quite spacious with a balcony and the countryside views were very nice. It had a good parking lot and was a quiet location but quite close to the main highway. I highly recommend.

Location is remote and very quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He recommended a nice place to eat. Breakfast was fine.

I was very surprised at how amazing this place was. I spent 2 weeks traveling in Spain, and out of my 6 stays, this was the best experience overall. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a short meeting to discuss recommendations about the area (with maps), which was very helpful! I can tell the staff takes pride in their hotel and the area they live in. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, the property was beautiful, and I noticed small considerate details every time the room was cleaned. If I ever have a chance again, I will definitely go back to Posada Lunada.

What a beautiful hotel & superb location. But that is not the best thing which is Javier, mine host, who was simply brilliant. Fantastic local knowledge & always willing to spend time sharing it & helping where possible. Maps, advice, loan of equipment - he has it all covered. Lovely continental breakfast on the terrace. Rooms immaculate & daily cleaning. Bedroom views to die for. Nothing but praise for a superb stay

We really loved our stay at Posada Lunada. Javier is a great host. He welcomed us with a friendy smile and took the time to give us information about the best sites to visit in Cantabria, that he knows very well. We enjoyed the delicious home made breakfast. Thw orange juice was the best. Beautiful Posada, incredible view of the countryside from our window. The room is modern and the bed is very confortable. We hope to have the chance to stay there again.

We stayed here one of the nine nights we spent in Spain and this was by far our favourite. Javier and his family really put this place head and shoulders above the rest with the way they treated us. From the warm greeting through to the SUPER EARLY breakfast they made us because we were up early to start a hike, this stay was a 5/5. Can’t wait to come back and stay for more than a night!

20 minute drive from Santander. Property in excellent condition.

サンタンデールに行く途中で宿泊しました。とても親切なマスターは英語も堪能で、親切に見どころやレストラン情報を教えてくれてとてもありがたかったです。部屋も綺麗で家族で泊まるのに十分でした。ディナーはありませんが近所の素晴らしいバルやレストランを紹介してくれます。朝ごはんはパンコントマテとコーヒー、ハモンにチーズととても美味しくいただきました。パレドールに泊まるのもいいですが、当ホテルのようなこじんまりしたホテルもマスターとの距離感が近くて良い思い出になりますね。皆さんも機会があればぜひ泊まってみて下さい。オススメです！

Lovely hotel

The property is in the countryside it is about 15 minutes drive to the center of Santader but it is super nice to stay also you have free breakfast and free parking

Simplicity at its finest. The views of the valley are stunning and the house is immaculate.

- Personal * Hemos sido recibidos por Javier, con trato excelente, ofreciendo posibilidades en base a nuestras expectativas del viaje, ajustando posibles excursiones al objetivo que tengas, ya sea descansar, visitar pueblos cercanos, ver naturaleza o conocer Santander. - Comida * 10 / 10 todos los días el desayuno se sirve recién preparado, habiendo diferentes opciones (tostadas de tomate, de mantequilla…) todo con alta calidad. * Javier recomienda varios sitios para comer tanto en las proximidades (2-3 km) como en pueblos cercanos si tienes ganas de alejarte un poco más. - Actividades * Infinitos km de campo para recorrer, la ría está a un paso en coche, con zonas preciosas para desconectar con un par de silletas mientras respiras el aire limpio. * Se ofrece una visita en lancha por la costa mientras se explica todo. * Hay bosques muy cerca para hacer senderismo. En conclusión: si te alojas en esta posada estás en un sitio que te permite desconectar, donde se come bien y, en caso de que quieras más actividad, tienes zonas próximas, incluyendo Santander.

Very convenient location. Lovely facilities including garden and lounge. Breakfast was delicious. But best thing was host. So friendly and helpful, with good advice re places to go. He spoke very good english.

Excellent place to stay

Very welcoming, professional host. Comfortable, clean room. Country setting, so a drive for dinner, but we knew that. Simple breakfast, well presented and enough.

Wonderful host who provided a great breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable with an updated bathroom. Our host was friendly and informative and made good suggestions for dining locally. We were about 15 minutes from Santander so very easy getting there and back. Absolutely lovely.

One kilometer from the Posada Lunada there is a small pothole in the road. That is how far one most go to find something negative to say about this very, very nice posada. Beautiful location, immaculate building and grounds, wonderful host, delicious breakfast, enjoyable shower, and good night's sleep. Can't ask for anything better!
