Overall, our stay was good, but there were several issues that affected our experience. We were initially given the wrong room, which was too small and uncomfortable, lacking adequate wardrobe space or drawers. Fortunately, after raising a complaint, we were moved to a better room, which improved our stay significantly. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was excellent, and the pool was clean and enjoyable, though unfortunately too small and shallow for my liking. The hotel’s location is fantastic, but clearer information regarding access to the beach area would have been helpful. Both breakfast and dinner at the hotel were of good quality, with a nice variety. However, I was disappointed with the fish, which didn’t meet my expectations. The entertainment provided was great, but the venue was too small to comfortably accommodate all guests. At times, we found ourselves seated in the opposite direction of the performers, which took away from the experience. While the reception staff were polite, but sometimes we felt a general lack of warmth, kindness, and empathy, particularly from one staff member named Tanio, who was unhelpful in assisting us with access to the tennis table. Despite what was advertised, we had no opportunity to play ping pong during our stay. The hotel bikes were a nice feature, though they could use more maintenance and an update.

Location was nice and so was the hotel. The rooms were a bit basic. Didn’t love the no cheap option for a double bed so we got 2 single beds and pushed them together. Didn’t love that the pools opened at 10 and shut at 7 or that the elevators took an age to go up to the top terrace because only 1 was allowed. The drinks options were good and the hotel bar staff were great. 5 stars to them. Breakfast was decent. Good range of food all in all and enough dining to go with.

By far the most breathtaking room I’ve ever stayed in. With a wall of retractable windows next to our huge bath tub with ocean front views. We’ll be back!

Friendly staff, hotel is in a great position with easy access to the beach and restaurants etc. Pools were all nice with plenty of Sunbed’s. Rooms are nice and spacious and very clean. Great find

The air conditioning was turned off & would not turn on! It was 28c in our room! It was horrible! The staff brought us a fan & suggested we open the window which did not help! Could not do my hair or makeup, husband had to keep his shirt off otherwise it would be drenched in sweat! All night we had the window open & couldn’t sleep because of the drunk people in front of hotel yelling. Was nauseous, dizzy & tears with the heat in the morning trying to pack up our stuff & get out of this awful hotel.

Beautiful property, great views and very good breakfast!

I had booked this hotel specifically because it has a spa. I was disappointed to find out at check-in the spa would be closed for renovation the duration of my stay. Hotels.Com or the hotel should advise when booking is made if hotel facilities will be closed. The hotel in general is good it is nicely positioned directly opposite the beach. I was upgraded to a sea view room at check-in by Rossi who was a delight to deal with. The standard of cleanliness was high and my room was comfortable however the food served in the buffet restaurant was average bland with very few authentic Spanish dishes served.

All of the staff were amazing; reception couldn’t be more professional, approachable and helpful, cleaning staff friendly and bar/restaurant team efficient with great service, thank you. It was a very busy weekend in Gandia but we never felt like anything we asked for or needed was any trouble, super relaxing. We will definitely go back to Gandia and will absolutely stay at this lovely hotel. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

What I liked was the entrance, the great pool area, view of the sea. What I didn't like was the awkward shape of the room, that made it difficult to move around. My husband literally didn't fit on the toilet (he's broadshouldered and about 1,80 m high, not huge or anything like that). What I also didn't like was the lack of service - both at the pool area and the terrace overlooking the pool. It was basically non existent. What was also unfortunate, was that 'snacks' couldn't be ordered after 3 PM it seems (I tried and they said we couldn't).

Excellent stay and hotel was very clean. Only negative aspect was the bar staff / waiters etc were very slow in attending to your requests in the lounge. Check in facilities were excellent and very efficient.
