Suites You Soho

I'll start by saying that you need to remove this option from your listing. At no point does it say that you don't have a reception area near the rooms. However, they do say: "Suites You Soho offers a warm welcome with express check-in." How dare you talk about a warm welcome when you can't even see them? To enter the building, you have to use an app to open two gates and then the room. The photos of the room look like they were designed with AI. It looks more like a motel room in the Old West. The only positive thing I can mention is that the bed isn't uncomfortable. Ultimately, the value for money is terrible. That's why I was annoyed that I made a reservation. An Arb would have been better.

On arrival at the address, I was confused because there was no signage and where the map took me was the street behind and the building was derelict and fenced off. I phoned the customer help number and was answered by a woman who wasn't responding to any of my queries and proceeded to hang up the call. I tried phoning back but there was no response. I had to get my travel partner to phone the number and in which they immediately responded. I was appalled by the lack of communication and customer service skills provided. The lady made no attempt to guide me to the correct building, all she kept on repeating was follow the address. I was stood on the street for 30 minutes before I decided to walk around the block and start looking at individual front doors. It then became clear to me that my room was behind a gated entrance. This was already overwhelming as the instructions were not clear. I managed to make my way into the room and upon arrival I went for a shower and was struggling to figure out how the hot water worked as there was one particular way it had to be set. That night, when I went to sleep the bedsheets were flimsy as there were 3 layers of thin sheets that kept on moving around and made it uncomfortable whilst sleeping. I decided to remove the middle layer. The following day when I was folding the removed sheet, to my horror I found a dead bed bug. This terrified me and when I requested for the room to be cleaned, I was denied this request as I was only staying

Great location! Nice clean room. Freshly painted halls... as we were checking in. Comfy bed. No parking as indicated tho'. Parked at El Cortes Inglés for €28... not happy about that part.

The location was great but the room itself not very good. Super small and nobody to check you in or out. Nobody to ask for toilet paper or stuff needed in the room priced accordingly I guess

Staffs contact was via email, always professional and and offering to help.

No storage. Small. Cramped. A window to nowhere. You can easily find better places to stay than this. Would not recommend

Very clean, staff were super attentive (via WhatsApp - despite a few issues with “StayMyWay” app) The air conditioning in the room was blissful. Thank you again.

Dirty bedding, dirty room. Refused to provide glasses. Refused to clean the room. Locked us out of our room twice in two days. The second time we were locked out the entire morning, until someone finally showed up for work at 11am. I get it you don’t want to see foreigners in your country, but this attitude and level of service is simply outrageous.

Good location but cleanliness was poor (hair on bed sheets and pillows). Bathroom vanity decaying and hair in sink.

Great location, awful housekeeping.

When we first arrived and turned on the bathroom taps on the sink, the plumbing was so backed up that water started to flow out of the shower drain into the bathroom floor. Slime and other debris from previous guests washed back up and filled the shower floor and made the room smell disgusting. With staff on site, we could only communicate through Whatsapp and the response times were disappointing. Once I got ahold of them they informed me that they could/would not move us to another room and that they would send maintenance to look at the problem. They did not end up sending someone to fix the issue and we had to wait for cleaning staff to arrive the following afternoon (which wasted half of our travel day in Madrid). Cleaning staff were not even aware of the issue when they arrived and I had to get them to come and look in the room. If I had left without waiting they would have not entered the room to realize there was an issue. Unfortunately we were only in Madrid for 2 days and dealing with this issue ruined most of our time there. Would not recommend staying here.

It’s in a great location. But the suite itself was not very clean. The bed smelled like sweat and the towels smelled sour! It wasn’t a great place to stay.

It's a nice apartment/hotel right in the middle of everything. Minutes from the Metro and restaurants are everywhere. The bed was super comfy and we enjoyed our stay. But there was one issue, which others also apparently had. There is no staff and all of the doors are electronic. But they are a "different" kind of electronic and the instructions are not exactly friendly. Others apparently also had issues because you can hear banging and frustration. And the doorknob in our room (inside) was torn from the door, obviously because someone couldn't figure it out. Here's the deal: (1) You use an app which has three options. (Assuming you find the right entryway, there are two). When they say "Fence" they mean the gate that protects the entryway door. Click open on the app, select fence, and then push the gate open. This is the easy part. (2) To open the entryway, it's labeled as "pedestrian". Click open on the app and select it but ... you will need to turn the knob FIRMLY! to the left. The knobs free-spin usually until the right code is entered. Then the knob "locks" onto the spindle and you can open the door. But the instant you release any pressure, the knob will free-spin again. (3) Same procedure for "apartment", except the knob turns to the right. Overall we were very happy. Extremely quiet, despite the aggravated guests and their doors. No fridge in case you were wondering. But we were very happy with our stay.

This spot was actually quite lovely. It was in a great location and we found it quite clean. Unfortunaltry the bed was just uncomfortable which is why we would rate it low. It dipped real low in the middle making it uncomfortable for two sleepers. If you plan on visiting here without data, we had to turn ours on to contact the staff for the wifi connection. I recommend that they have a wifi sign for their guests instead of being contacted through whatsapp.

Good apartments well done. Good for the weekend trip. Staff is super helpful. Thank you guys!

Location and room are excellent but the checking in system with codes has many problems and it will leave you frustrated Make sure to arrive within check in hours to avoid complications .
