5 star service. Great pool and gym. Great breakfest. Great staff who was always helpful. I got everything I needed and could not ask more. Food was amazing and room amazing. Always greatfull to this hotel.

I stayed here 13-20 Feb ( with a couple of days in Sur in between to see an old friend) and really enjoyed it. Loved the rooftop space and the view from there was so good. Conveniently located for supermarket and a few restaurants. I did walk to the Avenues Mall but you take your life into your hands crossing the large roads in places and as a lone woman I constantly got beeped by taxis asking if I needed a lift.
Only negatives were no towels or soap in the bathroom - luckily I had brought both with me. Probably could have asked…….however great shower and such a comfortable bed.

We loved the Platinum Hotel, convenient, clean and very friendly. The Omani lady at the reception was so kind! We arrived at 5.30 am and the reception was open! We loved the rooftop swimming pool to chill out. We weren’t expecting it to be so nice!

Very good property to stay in! It was safe and there are restaurants nearby! The air conditioner worked great which is a bonus! The airport is close by and the staff was friendly! I did have to ask for a towel but they responded quickly! I traveled with my friend and as two female travelers we felt very safe. The breakfast was a buffet style with good options like eggs, sausage, croissants, and donuts as well as other traditional breakfast items to the country. Overall I highly recommend this hotel to other backpackers or solo travelers as it was accommodating, a great price, and safe!

Comfy bed and pillow, quite room with good blackout curtains, and excellent air condition, however the room was not that clean, no hands or fave towels dirty kettle, and the front desk didn't answer my call at all, so poor service.

Noise from lift is annoying you can hear it from your room and the pool is my only complaint. Otherwise I had a perfect stay. Great for relaxing around the pool looking out on Muscat city and great view of the mountains. Delicious food, gorgeous design hotels close to shopping malls and not far from the beach and excellent staff is a great reason to check in here.

The only suggestion I would give the hotel to replace the mattresses. It’s sinking and causes lower back discomfort. Besides that over all was a good stay.
Staff was friendly, but they can be a bit welcoming at the front desk. It makes a huge difference for incoming guest trying to check in.

It was in the middle of alot of restaurants. We only stayed 1 night so did not use them. It eas about 110 degrees outside and when we got to the hotel it wasn't very well air-conditioned. They didn't even turn on the airconditioning in our room so it was like an oven. There wasn't even 1 towel not even a hand towel. My husband asked for some and they didn't bring them. I had to go ask again and they brought 1 hand towel we told them we needed bath towels also for a shower. The gentleman at the counter was very nice. He helped me to download and use the app to get a taxi. The place could be very nice but it is outdated.

The property needs urgent renovation and purchase of Guest Room basic requirements like, Hand and Bath Towels, Room Sleepers, Bathroom Toiletries, Bed Linen, Etc. Condition is very poor.
Room Condition is good but rest of the things are very poor.
Lobby and Restaurant AC is not working in required condition.
Breakfast Buffet is not at all worth.

Platinum Hotels in Muscat
I unfortunately paid for this hotel in advance and had a difficult time changing my reservation for an nine nights visit to Mucat at the check-in time. For three adults in a room, they added a small bed that was too small for my son and had very old, uncomfortable mattress. Additionally, the beds were noisy, the bathroom drain didn't work and we had to change room, the hallway was excessively hot, and there was a strong bleach smell. Throughout our stay, we consistently had to request additional towels as they were not provided in sufficient quantity. The key door did not work properly and we had to asked the staff to activate our key more often. The internet was tribble and I could not get connected with the wifi from this hotel. I don't recommend this hotel at all!
