The receptionist is super friendly and the room was really modern and great with a fantastic view over the river. It is spotless and feels really new. The bed and pillows were too soft for my liking but that is preference so not really an issue. The only slight downside is that you are not able to control the temperature directly in the room and it apparently takes 24 hours to adjust the temperature so slept with the patio doors open which worked really well. The restaurant for dinner is brilliant although a bit slow on the service but still lovely and very friendly and amazing quality of the food. The breakfast is very good too. Highly recommended!!

A really good country hotel, lovely location, friendly and efficient service, spotlessly clean. Happy to recommend for a short or long stay. Well worth a twenty minute diversion from the main road even if you are just travelling north or south to find a haven of tranquility
