Lätt att få parkering till bra pris och även gratis. Litet hotell med god frukost. Kanske omodernt men rent och fint. Mycket trevlig personal. Framförallt sköna sängar och fräscha kuddar. Vi hyrde tre rum och samtliga i gänget var mycket nöjda.

Jag ville ha ett prisvärt enkelt rum för att sova över innan jag fortsatte min resa nästa morgon. Det var exakt det jag fick. Ett rent rum med en stol med ett litet "skrivbord', enkel fotölj, en bra säng, bra dusch och en vattenkokare med neckaffe och tepåsar. På morgonen ingick en bra hotellfrukost inte överdådig men med allt som man kan förvänta sig. Personalen höll också ordning på det, fyllde på vid behov och höll det snyggt. Det finns ingen lobby utan det enda gemensamma utrymmet är frukostrummet, förutom några fotöljer i korridoren till rummen. Entrén är oansenlig och hotelldelen ligger någon eller några våningar upp, som man tar sig med någon av hissarns. Häften av rummen vetter mot järnvägen, övriga mot Trädgårdsgatan och Kyrkoparken, där det enda som hördes var fågelsång. Jag har tidigare bott i rum som vett åt järnvägen och inte störts av ljuden från tågen, men hur känslig man är för ljud är ju individuellt. Den enda lilla bristen som jag upplevde var att laminatparketten hade rest sig lite på några ställen i mitt rum, men det var ju inget som påverkade mitt boende. Om man är ute efter ett enkelt privärt boende i centrala Skövde (100 meter till station och busstation, några hundra meter från torget med restsuranger och mindre köpcentrum) kan jag inte tänka mig något bättre. Är man ute efter lyx romantik och flärd är det inget bra alternativ.
