This is a really nice hotel with character in a great location next to a lake. The staff were very friendly. No restaurant but there was a local one 5 mins walk away.
The room was very comfortable and breakfast was adequate.
Thanks for a nice stay.

Conveniently located for going to Stockholm. A short drive or walk from hotel to park your car and take 20 min train to central station, heart of city- affordable commute.
Lovely setting, peaceful on a lake. Restraunt on the lake, however we did not have time to eat. Pet Friendly and our Labrador had a great time swimming.
Original Old house. Some would say it is ‘dated’ with the decor however the house and rooms are clean and staff/ owner outgoing and friendly. Single beds pushed together so not very romantic for a couples. If we are ever in the area again will definitely stay here and not in the city. Suggest to clarify if there is a wedding on before booking - could be very busy.

Fabulous hotel with lots of character located in a picture perfect setting close to Stockholm. Family own and operated, the staff / family showing exceptional care and personal service emphasizing on the quality of your stay. Perhaps not “kid friendly” , nice to see that there is a place to stay for “all us other without children” for sure worth every penny since it gives you the special feeling and peace and quite during our stay. Morning coffee sitting / walking outside viewing the water and marina along with the nice garden is serene and unforgettable.
We will return.

The hotel was charming with lovely furnishings and grounds that went down to the river. We sat on a bench in the evening sun and watched a pair of swans with their cygnet less than 3m away. The owner recommended a great restaurant 5 minutes stroll away where we ate on the decking overlooking the river. The hotel breakfast was extensive with a lot of choice.

For noen omgivelser. Ute som inne. Man blir helt målløs. Hotellrom med himmelseng og luftebalkong. Veldig hyggelig vert som bydde på seg selv. Spiste nydelig mat på restauranten som lå et lite stykke unna.og frokostsal med tente lys og med godt utvalg Er det et sted man må besøke, er det dette.

Sehr schönes Hotel und wunderbar gelegen am See. Die totale Idylle. Einrichtung alles im Old School aus der Jahrhundertwende total schön und auch die Zimmer sind im Old School, klasse eingerichtet und absolut sauber. Auf den im Zimmer beiden Ohrensesseln konnte man prima sitzen und auch im Bett haben wir super geschlafen. Der Hausherr und auch das Personal ist super nett und freundlich. Das Bad war Modern. Das Frühstück war super und reichhaltig.

Otroligt gulligt ställe. Låg vackert och mysigt rum. God frukost och trevlig personal.
Ingen middag på kvällen pga av bröllop på hotellet, men 6 min promenad till ett mysigt värdshus med god mat.

Un soggiorno da ricordare. Il posto è incantevole e la gentilezza del personale unica nel suo genere. Consiglio vivamente l’hotel, specialmente durante la primavera e l’estate. La colazione è più che ottima e la camera dotata di tutti comfort. Un bellissimo ricordo della Svezia :)

Torpa will give you an unusual experience. Right by the water, next to the pretty marina and surrounded by the forest you'll find an around 150 year old garden park surrounded mansion with great charm. The owner can give you a story or two from his long experience in the world of sailboat production. It is all topped with a good breakfast and a wonderful view.
The drawback is the close-by motorway, but the noise is not too bad
