This place was fantastic! We had a toddler, which means all vacations are pretty rough. The room was spacious and we had a loft. It was quiet and peaceful. We brought our chariot and cross country skis and were able to take the little dude out on some excellent trails. The location was nice. I do recommend making dinner reservations in advance as it took us a few places before we got in the first night.
The breakfast was tasty and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. There was a cute little playroom for the kids, which was small but well put together.

Our stay at Eienwäldli was absolutely perfect. The staff was outstanding and we felt very welcome. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the spa area very beautiful. We had a very relaxing stay at the hotel and would come back anytime. It is the perfect place to spend a few relaxing as well as fun days in Engelberg both as a family and as a couple.

Great getaway at the heart of the Swiss Alps. Very thoughtful planning throughout by the hotel management. Lots of activities available for the children and family. Loved the indoor thermal pool with slides ! Camping area also had lots of activities for the kids. Very friendly staff at the breakfast area and in their restaurant.
