3 Door Hotel

Very clean and modern hotel. Our room was very large and very clean. Comfy beds and good aircon. We had a window view to the street but it was not noisy. Staff were excellent and great customer service. Could get snacks at reception if you felt peckish. Ten minute walk to station and we walked most places to see sights as well as a two minute walk to the bus 98 stop which takes you to Aping to see Banyon tree house.

Staff are friendly. Room was spacious and clean! I enjoyed!

Location is convenient for shopping, dining & transportation. Nice & polite staff. Spacious & comfortable bedroom & bathroom. However, room light is not bright enough for seniors.

We only stayed for one day, since we had to visit family members in one night. And I REALLY want to stay more time. It was such a nice place to be.

There’s no parking site for the property so you got to find a nearby road side parking. It’s free from 10pm to 8am supposedly, you just park and pay at a convenience store with the chit placed on your car windscreen wiper after you leave. The entrance to the hotel is beside the check-in counter. The room is fairly big but not carpeted. Location wise it’s walking distance from Tainan train station (not the HSR station, which is quite a distance away).

Hotel is a unique architectual design. Enjoy the roof top library and garden.

Terrible experience

Convience. Great upstairs hangout spot and library. Lived the japanese bedding style. Nice arch design. Very helpful staff.

Good choice if you want a central location convenient to the train station. Friendly and super helpful staff. The room was spacious. Although the room had large windows, it was a little dark due to the sombre colour scheme and low level of lighting available.

Overall a great hotel and I really enjoyed my stay here. Pros - Excellent location and <5 mins walk from the train station - Hotel staff are lovely and make you feel very welcomed - Rooms are very spacious and comfortable Cons - Better use of the terrace and library on the top floor. This could be an amazing space but felt a bit under utilised, could be a nice cafe/bar space

Wonderful hotel with friendly service staff. Walkable from Tainan station, some eateries nearby, but still quite a walk from the main tourist spots. Malls like Shin Kong is just 10-15mins away.

Room size, nice staff

Usually when I leave a review, I start with the room, then move on to the public areas of the hotel, and then the area around the hotel and access to public transportation. But this time round I feel like I should start with the staff, because they are the secret ingredient that makes this property stand out. The warmth, attention to detail, and proactiveness really turned our visit from an exploration of Southern Taiwan into an experience where we feel like we are coming home after a day of galavanting. Thanks to Jenny, Eva, Neon, Tom, Lily, Anna, and our housekeeper Sarah for being such thoughtful and lovely hosts. And yes: 1. our room was spacious and well-appointed, 2. the hotel was immaculate with free Taiwanese snacks and cold sweet tea in the lobby, 3. There were lots of places to eat in the immediate vicinity and being 2 mins from bus stops and 7 from the Tainan train station was a huge boon. Thanks to the 3 Doors team for giving us a home away from home!

Rooms are nicely and minimally decorated. Spacious bathrooms. Very friendly and personable service. Will come back!

The service is good, especially the receptionist Jenny, who is very nice and helpful. I think the hotel was renovated from an older-style hotel; the room and bathroom still use older-style facilities. So far, so good.

The room was spacious and great for a few short days. Although while spacious the amenities it isn’t utilizing the space well enough. For example I wish they added a few more shower hooks. There was only 1 hook by the sink so it’s either for hand towel or bath towel. There’s not enough counter space for your bath products. The shower is large and a lot of empty space so I wish they added a few hooks to the back where the water definitely won’t reach. The big plus about this hotel is that it’s close to the Tainan train station. The staffs are all very friendly and accommodating. They definitely check to make sure your stay is comfortable. We didn’t get to try the bar at the lobby but hopefully next time.
