The hotel is clean and well kept. THE staff service is good

The room was impeccably clean and spacious with a HUGE bed. Friendly service. Hotel was a short (15 min) walk from the train station and was easy to walk around Taichung without any trouble.

Room master light was not working and the bathroom had tiny drain flies.

Room was very clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We had an issue with the shower head holder which we raised to the front desk and they had it fixed by the time we came back in the evening! Location was great, lots of dining and bakery options around! I would come back!

This was a very nice place to stay for one night while passing through Taichung on my way to Sun Moon Lake. It's an older bullding, but very well renovated. My room was huge by Taiwan standards with a comfortable bed and clean private bathroom. The hotel offers some free snacks with your stay and some discounts for the cocktail making machine in the lobby. It was a nice touch. The area is convenient for the train station, albeit a little seedy - but that is the general vibe in Taichung.

The Blue Sky hotel at the heart of Taichung is a unique hotel with beautiful decor and unique design. The hotel is about 15 min from the HSR station and a taxi will cost around 300 NTD. You can also take the train but it’s a bit walk with luggage. We arrived on a Sunday and quite early in the morning. The hotel is strict about 3 pm check in so we left our luggage and went for lunch. Unfortunately, most restaurants are closed on Sunday but there was a 2nd market (kind of farmers market), where you can try local food if you can read or translate Chinese. We had a premium quadruple room and the room was huge with a balcony. The bathroom was spacious with both a shower and a bathtub. The toilet had a bidet with a heated seat. The hotel staff noticed my birthday was on the checkout day and gave me a gift while I was checking in. Everyday they provided water and snacks in the room which was a nice gesture! There is an excellent bakery downstairs which is always crowded. They have many restaurants within walking distance and the night markets are within 10 min cab ride. Overall, we had a great experience staying at this hotel. There is also a lounge where I worked most mornings as I was jet lagged and didn’t want to wake my family in my room. The temperature control worked well and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. I would recommend anyone who is looking to stay at the downtown area without paying too high.

Nice spacous and clean hotel!

Staff are good, room is clean and comfortable and has everything we needed. Overall it’s a great place to stay. We definitely will stay at this hotel again!

Good , clean and friendly staff

We stayed in two sections of our trip. 2N from 13-15 Nov and back again 16-20 Nov. Hotel is walkable from TaiChung station (12min) once you know how. Near to some convenience stores and a great old skool bakery next door. A nice popular Cafe is few units down. Great bus stop options around too. Cleanliness is v good. Strong shower pressure and instant hot water. Nice shampoo and body wash. Some Cons were on our first room in first section, Bidet didn’t warm seat. Air com can get quite cold

Trendy hotel set in a heritage building. You would think that it is dated but it was tastefully done. Very busy reception but they are very very accommodating, so well done to them.

If this hotel was the Gold Standard for every other 3 star hotels, there would be almost no complaints ever again! Loved everything about that place!

Everything was amazing, beautiful room and pristinely clean. Every member of the staff who I met was friendly, kind and professional.

Warm and friendly staff, we received a little surprise (a bag of snacks) when we arrived at evening time. The facility is so clean and convenient.
