Everything is so great about grand Grand Hyatt Taipei; all of the hotel guests can take a close look at 101 tower during New Year's Eve firework. We didn't have to go outside on the street to watch 101. Rooms are so clean; they were very generous to give many complimentary water bottles. Staff were so friendly. Will stay here again for sure!

Space Inn Xinyi
The hostel is quite near with 101 tower and easy access to MRT or bus station. And receptionist was great, they give me to change to another room cause personal matter.

The hotel overall can be considered for stay as I like the location and I would like to provide some points for improvement.
- The location is perfectly good, a few steps away from 101.
- I booked the room with breakfast but instead, I got the meals from Louisa and it’s out of expectation ever since I was looking for a normal meal with vegetables.
- the soundproof is extremely bad. I can hear the sound of other rooms if they talk loud enough and whenever there’re someone opens or locks the door, I felt like they were about to enter my room.
- the hot water is somehow functioning not well. It turned to cold suddenly and need to manually adjust.
- The check-in staff is not that friendly, but I don’t mind this much.

Taipei Livepal Hostel
This hotel is nice for a backpacker like me as I got a private bed (with a curtain cover) and a locker that is enough for my cabin baggage. Very convenient as it is very close to Raohe Night Market, Family Mart (convenience store) and MRT Station (Songshan Station). The hotel (including the shower room) is clean & quiet, and the staffs were friendly.

Dear United Hotel Taipei Management,
I’m writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent experience at your hotel.
I arrived at the hotel early around 8:30 AM after a long 4.5-hour flight with my son. I asked about an early check-in but was told it would require a half-day charge. Since that wasn’t ideal, I decided to wait in the lobby until the usual check-in time around 12–1 PM.
My son was very tired and sleepy, so he lay down briefly on the sofa while we waited. His feet were clean (no shoes or socks). About 30 minutes later, a staff member came over and told us my son should not lie down. I explained the situation, and he said he would try to find a solution but, in the meantime, asked my son to sit properly only on the sofa.
My son, despite being tired, followed the instructions and sat up. However, no one followed up with us or offered any assistance after that. We ended up leaving the hotel around 10:30 AM to wait elsewhere.
I noticed that before the staff member approached us, an older male staff member possibly a manager kept walking by and glaring at us, as if we were doing something wrong. His behavior felt judgmental and made us feel very unwelcome.
This is not the level of service I expect from a hotel that claims to be 4 stars. I’ve stayed at many hotels in this category or higher, and most are much more accommodating, especially when guests are traveling with children.
I hope your team reflects on this experience and offers better support and understanding to families in the future. A little empathy would have made a big difference.

The hotel was OK, if a bit claustrophobic. The bed is nice and they have free flow of coffee and hot chocolate which I appreciate
