This property was incredibly lovely. It is well outfitted and conveniently located. Everything is nice, new and sparkling clean. The host goes out of her way to make sure all you could possibly want is taken care of. Breakfast is varied and delicious. The best coffee I’ve had in Taiwan. It is within steps of the boat landing, the bike route and the cable car to the Formosa Village. The charm of this little hotel made going to Sun Moon Lake all the better.

Mdm Gao, owner of the property, was very hospitable. She made extra effort to ensure our comfort and convenient. Enjoyable and cosy stay.

This is a B&B concept accomodation, runned by the owner and his family members. Very homely feel with warm ambience. Simple breakfast to start the day. Rooms are acceptable if you are planning to stay a night or two in Ita Thao.

Madam Gao and her family were very hospitable. Moonlake B&B provided delicious homemade breakfast which included the local delicacies. It has a strategic location at Ita Shao with walking distance to the Pier, Cable Car Station and Night Market with a variety of shops and food stores. The family are informative about tourist attractions. The room was spacious and clean with secured front door that you can put your mind at ease.

This is a hidden gem. Great location. Near everything. A lot of space for the family and great to have breakfast included in the morning. Nothing is open except for 7-11. Conveniently located to transportation.

Hotel is nice with very close distance to the central Ita Thao Pier. However, the room I stayed was quite humid

We were greeted by a very friendly owner and her son (or son-in-law) with tea and cookies. We discussed what was worth visiting with our 2 day 1 night trip and with consideration to the weather condition. They have tickets for the gondola, day passes for the boat that cycles between three wharves in the lake and coupons for bike rentals - they are all worth it and cheaper than buying/renting them on spot. The buffet breakfast is authentic Taiwanese style and very delicious if you fancy it. We chose to have our breakfast in the garden and it was quite memorable.The hotel service, location and installations are all excellent. I will be a return customer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moonlake B&B. From the time we checked in, we experienced great hospitality. The receptionist who welcomed us helped us to plan our time at Sun Moon Lake so that we could get to do the different things without missing our HSR train ride back to Taoyuan. The breakfast was a traditional Taiwan porridge with a good array of condiments, along with bread with spread for a more Western meal. Furthermore, when we needed to catch our shuttles bus back to Taichung, the owner offered to send our luggage by car to the bus stop so that we won’t miss the round-the-lake bus. If you’re looking for a place that homey, Moonlake B&B is your place. It has little touches that warms the heart during a misty, cold stay at Sun Moon Lake

The Hotel is 5 minutes walk from the Sun-Moon Lake. The room we stay is large and clean. The hotel owner MS Kao is really helpful. If you like us took the bus to SUN-MOON Lake, you need take the local bus (15 minutes) or a ferry to the station called Ita Thao Pier. It takes 6 minutes walk to the hotel.

The owner is kind and offer her laundry service to us. Her counter area sell biscuit and tea that couldn’t get anywhere in moon lake. We bought many and they sent us to take cable car
