BYD Lofts - Boutique Hotel & Serviced Apartments

This was my second long stay with BYD. Always a pleasant stay.

I could not recommend this place more highly. A quick 5 min. walk to the beach and everything Patong has to offer. The apartment was the perfect size and comfort, with a balcony, living room, kitchen, and all the comforts of home. I was met with a lovely cold towel and delicious lavender drink at check-in! The service was excellent - they dropped my bags in my room while I was out exploring the town. They checked on me multiple times to ensure I was having a great experience and I was thrilled each day to have a great place to come back to. I will absolutely stay here again, and you should too!

Loved everything about the BYD particularly the staff. It’s in a lovely quiet part of Patong but close to everything. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the breakfast is also good. There is also great massage places all around. Easy walk to the beach. This is our second stay. The rooms are lovely and big and the TV has all the streaming services. I highly recommend the BYD - you won’t be disappointed.

Good property in a nice location.

I enjoyed my stay here; the staff upgraded my loft to one with a better view. The loft was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The location is tucked away off the main street but still conveniently located. The staff was very helpful, and the hotel has a great bar/restaurant right next to the lobby. It's also very quiet here, I was very happy with my stay.

The hotel accommodations and location for us is perfect. The room was large and comfortable and the staff always smiles and hellos. Of course in Thai.

BYD is your sophisticated option in Patong Beach. It's not on the beach yet it's in a quiet little enclave, it feels almost European. The accommodation is flawless, clean, well maintained, large and airy, gorgeous tree right outside my balcony, and the staff are excellent. Away from the crowds this is a sanctuary. Across four different buildings it's like you are in you own safe village. From check in to the friendly chat every time I left the apartment with the staff, you feel welcomed and frankly you look forward to getting 'home', back to the apartment and away from the madness that is Patong. 'Ce La Vie Brasserie' is a delight. I ate here most nights I stayed with a mix of Western, Thai and European food. The odd night I went out for food, I was let down in comparison. It really is like a piece of Europe. A glass of wine on the terrace and the staff will take their time and ask, when you are ready for the next course. They don't have a laundry yet there is one next door and the massage place in the same area is basic yet professional (weird stuff). If you can get away from the idea of having a beach view, book here, you will thank yourself and your family will too! Also, have the mention the wine store, on premise. If you like a glass of vino, it's right there in the same building. I can't wait to return! 5* BYD, I travel a lot and you have set a beautiful standard in comfort, care and hospitality.

Amazing boutique hotel.

Great staff great stay.

Ran into some issues specific to our room: we believe they were doing maintenance work in unit above ours but we were not given notice. This lead to 1) noise above our unit repeatedly starting at 6am, which made for disruption of sleep 2) maintenance people entering our unit without our notice or permission 3) power outage in our unit which took almost two hours to fix 4) loss of air conditioning use in our bedroom - several hot uncomfortable nights sleeps 5) plumbing backed up and poured dirty sewage water up into our balcony from drain. Requested to be moved to different room, at first they didn’t accommodate, stating they didn’t have vacancy, but after repeated complaints, they did finally move us. Believe this to be a one off experience, but it’s our first and only of the place, so unfortunate and left a bad first impression given the nightly rate we paid.

Rooms were spacious. Staff was friendly. Amenities were great. Quiet. Safe. Convenient location to everything. 5 min walk to beach. 12-15 min walk to Bangla road. Food options all around. Room service was quick and tasty. Surprised me with a slice of cake for my Birthday. Felt like home away from home. Will be back.

A great location in a quiet place but close to the beach and main shopping area and night life

Beautiful apartment with any and everything one might need for a relaxing vacation. 15 minute walk to the beach and other points of interest. Staff was friendly and the property restaurant was very good. Definitely looking to stay there on my next vacation in Phuket and would definitely recommend to others.

I would highly recommend this location if your travels permit. Clean, very modern layout and a good location.

Found this absolute gem after leaving a different hotel that was terrible & we were SO glad we did!!!!! Fantastic suites, great location, clean, lovely amenities & the most comfortable beds!!!! Pool area was absolutely gorgeous. The service & attention from staff was absolutely impeccable. This hotel was perfect from check in to check out & made our stay in Phuket wonderful!! Will definitely stay here again.
