Chaweng Budget Hotel

We enjoyed our stay with Chaweng budget. Paying the budget price allowed us to access the pools and beach by the Chaweng cove resort. The hotel is conveniently located with 7/11 right across the street and numerous restaurants and massages places nearby. Front desk staff is very nice and helpful although the English is a little hard to understand at times. I would certainly come back again or recommend it to any of my friends.

The room is spacious. however the condition is a bit rundown.

No one at front desk. Have to go to sister property across the street. Lower rate lower service. As expected. Room was clean, location great. WiFi was terrible here. Good place for a comfortable place to sleep and spend time outdoors.

Nice basic but clean hotel, good AC. comfortable bed, good location. Nice that you can use the facilities of the more expensive hotel across the street.

Pros: Nice staffs! They are very service-minded! Good value as you can use chaweng cove's facilities. Cons: Our room was uncleaned (some dirty footprints on the floor, sticky floor) and the bedsheets was unchanged (the smell was really bad) so, we asked the staffs to clean it again. The bathroom was slippery and not quite clean. There was a fly in our room. It was very noisy at night with the sounds of bikes and cars passing by. Also, we heard lots of voices advertising at night until midnight. Bring your earplugs! Not 24-hour front desk! However, you can go to chaweng cove's front desk to ask for helps. All-in-all It was a good value hotel in an expensive area like chaweng. If you don't mind the cleanliness and comfortable, then it's a place for you. The staffs were very helpful.

Overall we were pleased with our stay at this location and would do so again. Our room was at the rear of the property so was away from road noise. Bathrooms are getting a little tired but functional. All staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful from the desk to the security guard. The Budget side of the hotel is on the opposite side of the road to the Cove. A simple walk across the road to access the beach, restaurant and pool. The breakfast food was excellent quality and both plentiful and variable. The staff at the egg station performed an eggcellent job! Perfectly cooked every time. Opposite the hotel is a hairdresser and a 7-Eleven while next door is one of many massage shops. It did appear that sheets were not changed every day or that they were ironed and the ‘Guest Laundry Facility’ is actually a sent away service and does not mean there are washing machines or iron on premises. There are washing machines within a few meters of the hotel though.

Staff amazing, Spotless rooms, cleaned daily lovely bed, everything supplied in the bathroom and coffee etc. super buffet breakfast. Use of all main hotel amenities just across the road. Amazing value.

Good place to stay, newly done building with nice furniture etc. You can use the Chaweng Cove facilities so it is a big plus as well as through the Cove access to pool and beach. Cleaning was lets say good, only sheets were not so clean time to time. Loundry is a bit of risk, very cheap but we had to sent it again for cleaning as they return half not touched by washmashine at all and lost one pcs of clothes. Breakfast good and overall good value for money.

This is a great budget hotel. You are across the street from the beach and can enjoy the amenities of the main hotel at your leisure. This is a great budget hotel. I would recommend this to any budget conscious traveler who wants to be a few minute walk from the center of all the action at the fraction of the cost.

positives: location, nice, big clean room with comfy queen-sized bed. love the bathroom with turqoise tiles. generous toiletries provided, with towels, robes and slippers. plenty english tv channels. i arrived early but the reception let me checkin before 2 pm and gave me a welcome drink (score!!). location was good for dining, shops, massages etc. songtheaw stops right in front of the hotel, so very convenient and cheap to move around. hotel is located on a quieter end of Chaweng, but still plenty of things going on. i had problems with the wifi and a staff came all the way from the sister hotel across the road to my room and helped me. i asked for a late checkout and allowed, no hassles. despite being a budget hotel, it offers great amenities and service. would gladly return! thank you!! negatives: my room faced the street so noise from traffic and live music was inevitable. but the noise was drowned out when i turned on the a/c. if u're a light sleeper, ask for EVEN-numbered rooms which faces the back

Decent and very comfortable, staff were friendly. A little bit out away from the noise of chaweng but only ten mins walk! Only problem with my room was two single beds pushed together and found myself stuck between them once or twice.

Was a good stay and price was right

Room full with necessary amenities needed. Breakfast provided located at The Cove Restaurant @ Chaweng Cove Resort which is just opposite of this hotel. Walking distance to the beach within 5 mins.

We booked the Chaweng budget hotel but when we arrived it was closed (probably beacuse it was the low season) and we were given a room in the main hotel, Chaweng Cove Resort. I cannot comment on the budget hotel rooms but the room we were given was very good. As far as I can see if you do stay in the budget section you still have use of all the main hotel facilities. The hotel is on a very good part of the beach that has deep clear water for swimming. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants in the main street behind.

When we arrived we got upgraded to their sister hotel chaweng cove beach resorr, amazing hotel, with great views of the ocean and a nice pool

rooms towards the street are very noisy and the windows have metal bars infront,very bad.the back rooms are not that bad,,at least it is quiet.

We enjoyed our five days in this hotel with the private beach,pool,sunbed and every day changed beach towel. It was quiet but still close restaurants and other eating possibilities. The night life maybe a little further but a lot songhtews to travel with. Only problem were the big waves even in good weather.
