This is a fairly dated hotel although very clean. Is tucked away, a bit hard to find and don't believe the part about parking as it is outside and not guaranteed. Staff were more interested in being on their phone than greeting patrons but i guess that is the modern world. Overall it is not too bad and very close to the night markets where the food is really good.

When we arrived at 11pm to check-in for a 12 night stay there were no staff & lights were shut off. Our taxi driver found a number to call & reached the staff. In which they directed us to find a key in a cooler stored outside to open the main door & then we were supposed to check ourselves in (the staff just left our room keys on the main desk). Definitely the oddest check-in experience ever. The hotel is above a coffee shop & there are no elevators. Luckily our rooms were only on the 2nd floor, but those with mobility issues should be aware. I have a bad knee and the 2 flights daily exhausted me for most of our trip. Facilities were clean, but well used. Bed was incredibly hard & sore on my back. Mosquitoes & spider bites were a daily annoyance, even with all the windows closed. All of my family came home with several bites just from sleeping. While incredibly affordable for the week, we spent our last night at The Blu Monkey Hotel & enjoyed an elevator, pool, and the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. Next time in Krabi, we'll just pay for the upgrade.

Really cute place. Convenient near the town and very walkable. Helped us arrange ferry transport. No elevator so we were huffing and puffing taking the stairs to the 4th floor! Probably was good for us though. The pillows were not our favourite but the place was large, clean, and quiet!

It’s a nice property, very nice staff and it’s extremely clean. The restaurant is very good and food is exceptional. I never had Wi-Fi working during the evening hours. I didn’t realize it’s on the opposite side of Krabi where all the action happens. Its nowhere near the beaches or bar street. About 40 min taxi ride, so check on your map. Very little to do in the area there are some traditional shops, but it’s mostly food market. I stayed three nights and did back-to-back tours due to location some of the tours I wanted to do wouldn’t pick me up due to being out of location range. Overall, great location again if you want the vibrant night life that Krabbi is known for this is not the side.

We stayed in the lighthouse room pictured in the first photo and it truly looked like the photos! Bed was very comfy and amenities were nice. Front desk staff was helpful at check in and provided tips for how to travel to Railay beach. We tried to get more tips when we checked out, but the front desk person at that time spoke virtually no English. We did laundry at the hotel, which was an easy service. The hotel is right next to a really cool night market. As there are in many places in this region, there were a decent amount of tiny ants in the hotel room, which is kind of unavoidable. They didn't bother us.

It was absolutely horrible. The hostest was lovely however: 1) we got there 20 minutes after check in and our room was not ready 2) we booked a “double bed” and we got a BUNK BED when we confronted them about this they said that a bunk bed IS a double bed because it sleeps two people!!!! 3) THERE WERE ANTS EVERYWHERE. We went to brush our teeth and realized that our bedroom and bathroom floors were COVERED IN TINY ANTS. 4) online it said “airport transportation” and when we went to tell them when our flight was they said that they don’t run their airport shuttle in August... WHAT? Why? Total lie. So that was another thing we then had to pay for. We have stayed in hostels our entire trip and went to “treat ourselves” to a hotel and it was a horrendous experience. Do not do not book here. Terrance and lobby are very cute and lovely staff, but HORRIBLE HOTEL. Horrible

Very friendly and helpful staff, made check and stay quite nice. Very convenient location as the river, night market, and other attractions are close by. The rooms are very good for the price, both in design and in cleanliness and comfort. The only downside was having no elevator but I knew this going in and they were helpful in locating both rooms on the 2nd floor. They helped arrange a taxi as well - the staff definitely increased the comfort of this stay.
