One of the best resorts we have ever stayed at! The grounds and pools are beautiful but it’s the staff that are so welcoming! We had the half board and it was great value and well worth it! We hope to come back one day!

Fantastic stay at the Phuket Marriott resort..
Hotel is well located near Patong and about 30 mins from Phuket.
Room was lovely, well presented and we woke to a fantastic view of the sea every morning.
Hotel is excellent, I would struggle to find fault. Staff were particularly friendly and very helpful; plenty to eat in many restaurants; bar was great and the girls serving us were lovely and friendly.
The swimming pool is superb, lots to do at the hotel.
I can recommend the hotel without any reservations..

The facilities were exceptional, but the amazing staff service throughout the resort truly made our trip unforgettable—especially at the Beach Grill, where we met the extraordinary Kik, who became the shining highlight of our entire experience.
Kik’s warmth and passion at the Beach Grill were unparalleled, transforming every meal into a cherished memory for us. Her radiant smile welcomed us each time, and her thoughtfulness was remarkable—she recommended a mouthwatering grilled seafood platter and remembered our favorite cocktail, serving it with a cheerful “How’s your day going?” Kik made us feel like we were dining with a dear friend, her dedication setting a new standard for hospitality that left us in awe. The rest of the Beach Grill team also contributed to the amazing service: Andrey’s enthusiasm, Fern’s quiet efficiency, and Floor’s calm professionalism ensured every dish was perfect and every moment seamless, even during busy evenings, making the food fresh, flavorful, and delightful.

Resort was great really enjoyed it and staff very helpful. Only thing is be prepared for so many flies and at check in i was told my room was ready for me, but for me to get it at that time i would have to pay additional charge. We did get to hotel early but if the room is ready and no extra staff nor work was needed to get room ready why pay extra. So in other words the room would sit there empty until it was 3pm and then i can access it. I would understand if a rush clean up or extra staff needed to get it ready but it was ready, so ofcourse i paid but feel it was not called for since it was ready and waiting for me. Other than that was great

I can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was at the Marriott Merlin Beach Resort. The staff are AMAZING. We absolutely loved being greeted with their warm smiles. They were extremely attentive to our needs during meals, sitting at the pool and at the beach by the Rum Shack. The resort is very nice and always clean. We opted for the all-inclusive package and were glad we did. The menus at the restaurants were pretty good and we always found something to our liking. If you are looking for a family getaway I would recommend this resort, but be aware it is a little off the beaten path. It is a short taxi or bus ride into Patong, but we didn’t feel the need to leave as all of what we needed was at the resort. There is even an elephant sanctuary only a 5 minute walk up the hill. We will definitely be returning.

This is definitely a hotel catered for families, however we had a great time as a couple. Lots to do, was very well kept and close reefs to snorkel. Shout out to Bas, Beer, Aom and Seven at the Rum Shack who made us feel very welcome and prepared some great cocktails!

Property had great breakfast and dining options. The room was pretty expensive for what it was. It was quite difficult to get around as a lot of drivers did not like the location of the property (going up the hill to get to the property)

Overall the best part of this resort were the staff. Everyone was so kind and pleasurable. They truly went out of their way to make our stay was special, from the check in, restaurants, beach and pool staff, everyone was so respectful.
