Great location close to other nice beaches, Seafar Resort beachfront is perfect for family with small children to swim. Great breakfast selection for everyone. Free water, coffee, tea, and toast & jam all day. Reception ladies speak great English and were very helpful. Free welcome drink, which was refreshing after a long day of traveling from Pattaya. Motor bike rental on site starts at 350 tbh- 450tbh/ day. Very lovely resort to stay at and relax.

Amazing beach, comfortable rooms, nice swimming pool and lounge area. Broken lock on my door which was annoying. I know I didn’t goon holiday to watch tv but 50 channels of Thai only TV is excessive. The option to watch a movie would have been nice.

This was a great place to stay. They have a toast , tea, coffee and chocolate all day which I thought was great. Make sure if you get beach front villa you ask for units 1-2 or 3 before booking. A little pricey but overall a nice stay. This would have been a higher rating if they did not add percentages for credit cards . I think that’s the cost of doing business.

Everything about the hotel seems unfinished which is rather disappointing. The rooms are very basic and unfinished with incredibly ugly decor and ceilings. There is no kettle or facilities in the rooms but they do offer free tea and coffee in the reception area. I’m not sure if it was because we stayed during the Christmas period but the hotel is very overpriced for the quality. There is no atmosphere in the hotel, the only evening that was enjoyable was Christmas Eve when they actually made an effort. One of the neighbouring hotels serves good food and has live entertainment. There is one lady on reception that is helpful but the other staff are not. The food at the barbecue on an evening is ok but everything else that we tried was terrible. The breakfasts were reasonable and a good selection to choose from. Don’t waste your money upgrading to the beach front properties as they are on the ugliest part of the beach so the view is very disappointing. The hotel is located on a nice beach so has the potential to be good if they trained the staff and made an effort.

Good: Great beach - simple but good room - very clean - helpful front desk - water was available everywhere - lots of chairs - wonderful shade Needs Improvement: the included breakfast was terrible compared to two other resorts in the area. - basically pre fried eggs - some fruit - pancakes. This was interesting as the lunch and dinner food was quite good. Some attention to breakfast would really assist the perception of a high quality resort. Final: We strongly recommend this resort and it would be excellent with a breakfast improvement

We enjoyed five nights at the Sea Far resort of peace and quiet. It is situated on a lovely beach front, but also has a wonderful pool for times when the surf is big during the rainy season. We really enjoyed our coconut grove cottage and thought they were great value for money during the low season. Breakfast was great with lots of Thai and Western choices. We also ate all of our lunches and dinners at the resort. The highlight was hot pot! The only issue may have been ants in the bathroom forced inside by the heavy rain. Go to Koh Kood for some relaxed beach and island time and enjoy Sea Far Resort. As the Lonely Planet says you will have a hard time raising yourself from your hammock!

staff couldnt have been more helpful or friendly. The hotel was on a beautiful beach and has a lovely pool. The room was spacious and big comfy bed. we rented scooters to go around the island and located a few near by restaurants. The hotel did a great bbq on an evening. would love to come back!

A lovely place to stay on this island, right on the beach where the sea is clear and warm. The boat dropped us off right on the beach of the hotel. Staff are really helpful. The pool at the back of the hotel is great if you want an alternative to the beach. Mopeds are cheap to rent direct from the hotel and the roads are pretty quiet in case you're not confident on a moped. We went for a bungalow without seaview but were really happy with our choice. I'd definitely recommend and happily stay here again.

We really liked our stay there. Nice bungalow, nice beach and the staff was friendly. The restaurant is ok and you can rent a motorcycle if you want. Everything a little overpriced. One thing thing was really bad. At night one dog came to our veranda, blood was running out of his mouth. Somebody was poisoning him. We can't help him anymore . Half an hour later he died. But this was the only bad thing what I can say about this resort. We stayed 5 nights in the coconut garden.

Lovely location next to the sea. Nice welcome from the lady at the front desk and introduced us to some of the sites around the island. Very friendly and helpful, as a result we booked a snorkling day trip through her. The food was good at the hotel although the kitchen didn't have everything that was on the menu. This could've been due to the low holiday season however that should be irrelevant. The service for food wasn't up to the standard of the hotel, although polite you had to work to grab their attention if you needed them.

Everything is blue: Houses on the beach, towels, beds, umbrellas ... Besides to that the resort is okay :) Houses in the back are spacious but without seaview, houses with seaview are very small but literally on the beach. There is also a pool which is quite big and clean. For breakfast they offered a lot: from toast and pancakes, some fruits not too many different things, lots of warm food - and only instant coffee for whom it is important. Beach is clean and the water fantastic. Equipment for snorkeling and kayaking is available. Staff does not speak English with few exceptions. Everybody was friendly but staff was not able to remember our room number although we ve been the only couple with a caucasian baby. In general we missed the typical warm Thai friendliness. Hotel seems to do a good part of their business with large travel groups who only stay one or two nights. During our one week stay we ve seen at least five of these groups. This may be good for business but it disturbs the calmness of the place. Must do: walk along the beach to find Shantaa Resort for lunch or dinner! Fantastic Thai food! A trip to the viewpoint cafe. Lunch in the pier restaursnts in the northern or southern fisherman village.

Rummen är lite slitna, gamla. Hotellet ligger fint vid havet. Personalen är trevlig men det bästa av allt var maten. Den var helt fantastiskt ( gäller thaimaten) och prisvärd.
