Iconic Istanbul hotel with large gardens that include two restaurants. Everything you expect from a Hilton and view of Bosporus were a great start to our trip.

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The rooms have been nicely renovated, modern, and clean. The pool area was a great place to relax.

Overall, a good stay, but a little hit & miss. When we initially checked in the room wasn’t ready until 16.30, which was unacceptable; however, the reception compensated by offering a free drink and access to the executive lounge for the duration of the stay… a great upgrade. The room provided was dated but spacious. I was happy with the room, but we were placed between a large and noisy family occupying multiple rooms either side, with TV blasting out the entire night. The next night was a techno concert in the opposite park, but thankfully, the reception moved us to a room on the opposite side of the hotel. If we’d have been given a quiet room, as asked during the initial booking, our stay would have been great, as the room we transferred to was quiet. The pool and pool area was great. Perfect for hot summer days and a highlight. We were also given a late checkout, so again, very happy with the flexibility. Breakfast was disappointing, as it was a crowded area and used lots of ready-made produce. I’ve stayed in 3, 4 and 5 star hotels across Istanbul with far superior breakfasts. I understand the Hilton is undergoing renovations and will be swish when finished; however, regardless of the refurbishment, the standard of breakfast needs to be improved from using ready-made produce and machine-ready drinks to quality, local sourced produce. Overall, a good stay, but I’d think twice before booking if a similar hotel was available for the same price.

We stayed in one of the renovated rooms, which are spacious, clean and sound-proof, and have a nice balcony. We especially liked the grounds - garden/pool/tennis/breakfast and restaurant areas which provide nice outdoor settings. We did enjoy the outdoor breakfast area, but having cats jumping on the breakfast tables, was a bit messy and not hygienic. Some areas such as around the tennis courts are in need of better grooming.

The Dragon restaurant -- the Turkish side -- was excellent. We had superb service from one of the waiters, who served us dinner and wine on Thursday, August 7. Please give him the outstanding credit he deserves.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus . From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff and checked in promptly. The team went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, especially as we were gathering with family who had traveled from various countries for a reunion. They thoughtfully arranged for us to be placed in nearby rooms, which made our experience even more convenient. Housekeeping was always polite and professional, with a special mention to Arzu, who stood out with her excellent service. Other staff members, including Tsira, Onder, Erding, and Yasin, were equally kind and ensured that our stay was memorable. The breakfast room was a lovely space to start our day, offering a great variety of options. We also enjoyed spending time at the beautiful pool each day, where the facilities were not only clean but luxurious. If we ever visit Turkey again, there’s no question—we’ll be returning to HIB.
