Hotel Venera

Excellent

Very nice little hotel.

nothing like the pictures they provide in Expedia site, room is very very small size, we pick 3 beds in a room , the picture showing nice area and space between beds, it is ended up that they add a bed between 2 beds in the walking area instead of the table , there was no chair in room can't walk between beds very tight, if we get food we have to eat on our bed because there is no other choice , we keep asking stuff to move to bigger room or to book another room for one person to move there , they refuse and there was no other option, it was long stay 15 days , bad experience. Breakfast: most of the days the egg making guy is not there!!

I am downgrading the rating to 2.5 stars after staying there for 4 nights. As they claim, its definitely not a 4 star hotel. Something remotely close to 3 star i would say. First things first, the check-in experience was pretty bad. They just handed over the key to me and I had to carry all the luggage myself. I booked a triple bedroom. But when I entered the room, it was a double bed room with no windows. Then they led me to a different bed room with 3 beds and i realized that all the rooms are of same small size, just the no. of beds varies. Another issue i faced is with the service. They don't clean the room, just take out the trash (there was only 1 trash bin, that too in the washroom) and arrange the bedsheets and no toothbrush/ paste in the toiletteries. On the positive side, the location is really nice. Around 200m walk to the nearest tram station and that will take you to all major attractions. The staff were courteous. Towels and beds were clean. Breakfast was ok, though its kind of sad to have the same bland stuff every morning. Overall, wouldn't recommend. Not worth it.

i used to stay in venera hotel .. ist a good,quite, and nice hotel ..i tray many hotels but venera is my favourite hotel.

Unique is value for price. Didnt like the room space and breakfast options

No swiming pool no hamam a lot of noise of cars

The is located historic distinct of Istanbul approx 15 minutes walk to major historical area. Close tram. Breakfast did not have whole a lot of obtains. Equivalent of 2 star hotel. Rooms are very small and very basic. Over priced differently not 4 stars. However staff speak English and friendly.

Good location. Very decent breakfast. Small rooms but sufficient to crash. Bar on roof is cool.

We enjoyed four (cold) days in Istanbul and thought the Venera met our needs quite well. There weren't too many restaurants close to the hotel so that meant going for an evening walk after a full day of sightseeing.

Hotel is very central and convenient, in the middle of the fashion district. The rooms were well maintained and elegantly designed, but utterly tiny. Our luggage barely fit in the room. The breakfast was awesome. They keep a large turtle confined to a fish tank in the breakfast area, and i found this rather inhumane for the creature. I wrote to management about that already.

the hotel seems to be for transient visitors as everyone seemed to be moving in and out all the time. It probably wouldn't be enjoyable for families with children but very suitable for business travellers and tourists.
