The property is extremely clean, updated rooms with comfortable bed beds, friendly and welcoming staff, great location, and even better amenities. It is a small and comfortable boutique hotel. I would highly recommend it.

Room a little too small but reflective of rate. Cean, reasonable, close to subway, Brooklyn
& services. Good NYC for lower Manhatten.
Only problem pipe on shower head too short. Should be 6-8" longer. For older person like me, standong on slope not stable.

We stayed one night after a last minute decision to extend our trip. The hotel is amazing and they take care of you. My only complaint was the pillows were way too soft. Lol 😆 very clean and great location.

The staff is nice, unfortunately the hotel is antiquated. I think this is reflected in the price, you get what you pay for. However for the price it is a fair seal.

The concierge was friendly and sweet. Front desk staff was rude which affected my stay. The room was clean. Got a balcony room with chairs glued to the patio and cameras looking into apartments.

I've stayed at the Artezen multiple times and have generally had positive experiences. The location is ideal for me since I work near Wall Street. However, this visit was disappointing. My room on the second floor was extremely noisy, making it difficult to sleep. To make matters worse, the check-in experience was poor - the staff seemed indifferent to my concerns. Ironically, this was the most I've spent on a hotel room in a long time, which made the experience even more frustrating.

Left my luggage in their luggage room for storage and when I got my luggage back, it was scratched really bad. If you have delicate luggages, be careful! Also ipad in the room was broken.

Fantastic hotel, would definitely stay here again. Close to subway stop and easy to access the rest of the city. Room has everything and the shower was particularly good. Staff were very polite and accommodating and overall it was a great place to stay

The property was well kept and the staff were friendly. Room sizes were good and the beds were comfortable.
Lots of things to do on your doorstep and super easy access to the whole of Manhattan and Brooklyn less than 5 minutes walk.
Loads of good eateries locally to get breakfast, lunch etc.
Overall a great hotel in a great location.

Fantastic hotel, great service. Well connected to everywhere via the subway. Staff excellent. There did seem to be a lot of homeless in the area and at times they were intimidating. Not the hotel’s fault and security in the hotel was great. Glad I wasn’t staying in the area on my own.

Comfortable bed clean room. Mediocre amenities. No VIP perks recognition. Run of the house lowest possible floor room. Would consider it a downgrade rather than the expected upgrade. $25 VIP Expedia hotel credit only available at a rooftop cafe that opens 4 hours after checkout! By 12:18 pm, 18 min past checkout time the "checkout right now" calls started, followed by a 12:30 call and by someone knocking at my door at 12:40. You would think that after not delivering any of Expedia VIP perks they would at least let me finish my shower!! This is not a VIP standard hotel and definitely not 4-5 stars

Bed was very comfortable and the room and hotel in overall was amazing but all of a sudden there’s a facility fee and some other fee, maybe it’s just NY in general but hotels should be straight up with the price that’s it’ll come out too .

It was very clean and matched the pictures. Our room was small but did the job. Walls are very thin so you can hear a lot but it was comfortable and in a good area in the city. Would recommend to friends and would return to this hotel if I am in the area again.

The hotel and staff were wonderful however we were on the second floor and the noise and traffic were so bad that neither my daughter nor I were able to sleep the entire night. It was like there was no insulation or sound proofing. It’s unfortunate as we really like the hotel and everyone who worked there. I would stay there again only if I could choose and be guaranteed a floor higher up away from the street.
