Holiday Inn Express RICHMOND - DOWNTOWN, an IHG Hotel

The parking charge was reasonable for a city hotel.

Best hotel breakfast around, good location, friendly and helpful staff.

The staff were really nice and helpful. The bed was sooo comfy.

The lady at the front desk was great very helpful and friendly. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. The overall room should have been cleaned better. You got a 3 because of the lady at the front desk

Second time I have stayed at this location because of its easy access to the Altria Theater. Parking is very good except it costs $20.00 per night. Beds are very comfortable. I appreciated the addition of the grab bar in the bathtub/dhower. I like the Dove soap and shampoo products. Quality of towels and wash clothes needs improvement I felt the hotel was stingy with Keurig k cups—only two so my friend and I couldn’t have a second cup.

Easy access to main street. Pleasant and safe to walkeven in the night.

All was great!

The only thing I would suggest is having more outdoor seating. There was one bench outside to sit on.

Even though Hotels.com didn't tell me the the hotel was over booked they made accommodation and was able to give us the last room available.

No issues

We were able to check in a bit early, which was very helpful because of a meeting in Richmond. Alana, at the desk, secured us a car and driver to get us to and from. I am recovering from a stroke and, though it was a short distance, the walk would have been difficult. Our room was great, very comfortable with views of the city.

Great breakfast. Excellent customer service. Nicely located off of expressway and near plenty of shopping, restaurants and things to do.

Hotel was good, I felt like parking was expensive. Room was huge and could have used more furniture or places to sit. Only 1 chair and 1 office chair, not comfortable for 2 people.

Everything as expected.

I was in town for my nieces Match Ceremony. The hotel is right downtown. Very convenient to the National Theater. Checking in was very quick and easy. It is odd that you must park your car on the street to check-in. The you must drive around the block, go under the hotel into the parking garage, to unload you car into the elevator. Then go to your room. A little scary for a woman traveling by herself and arriving later in the evening. But it all worked out fine. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was very friendly.
