Creepy virtual check in with talking head in box

The room and staff was nice, the neighborhood is less than desirable. Ok if you are just spending the night.

Parking is food , breakfast is okey

Everything was pretty good

The property was average, dated rooms, located on a moderately busy noisy street. Continental breakfast had very limited choices. It's fine for a quick stop.

We pulled up to the hotel late night. Rang the ring doorbell was advised that the person would be with us shortly that they were checking in someone at their sister hotel and it would take approximately 5 to 10 minutes. At least 25 minutes later we got buzzed into the building and it is actually someone that is checking you in virtually. The person was actually very friendly. It was the first time checking in on a zoom call the computer issues, keys, and the Wi-Fi code. The first room we were assigned was dirty. My friend got her hand stained from the dirty desk and there were dirty rags in the bathroom. We changed rooms that room was clean. If you need to call the front desk or go to the front desk there is no human it is someone virtually the entire time which was not disclosed when we checked in or book the room. The only humans that we saw were the next day that were cleaning the rooms. The area is not great. It is right next to a Chevron station and there seem to be a lot of unsavory characters hanging out around there. It is not a property that I can recommend. It’s not the worst motel I’ve ever stated in my life, but not one that I’m eager to go back to.

It was convenient but the b d was so hard and lumpy and the coffee pot didn’t work

The breakfast was not amazing, but it did help. The robot that took over checking in was odd. Not very user friendly at midnight when we got in. Otherwise the room itself was nice for our one day stay, journey from Bakersfield to the trees of mystery.

This room was very clean and well kept. The walk to the waterfront was short.

Staff was great, rooms were clean. Parking was an issue. Did not feel safe walking my dog outside of the property

Check in was completed by a virtual attendant. I was overcharged by $100. Breakfast was minimal and not very good and there was a shooting or stabbing that happened in the parking lot as we were preparing to leave.

Entire property reeks of urine and homeless hoarde attack your car if you park it. Also why have the front desk person be remote and then also have a physical person there at the same time? Weird, gross experience

100 dollars for fee i don't know why i paid on line and it said nothing about this so i felt segregated for being out of town and single woman with disabled child

The free breakfast was mediocre. Coffee and toast were good. The eggs and pancakes were "artificial" and tasteless. I was excited about the jacuzzi tub

Overall, the staffs are friendly, the breakfast was good.

Definitely overpriced for what you get. The area isn’t safe and the room is outdated. The bed is extremely uncomfortable with 3 flimsy pillows.
